We stayed here on our first night as a married couple. Janine could not have been more helpful with all our needs. From dropping the keys to the wedding venue and scattering hearts on the bed for when we arrived. There were lovely fresh robes slippers and all the amities available. The breakfast was amazing fresh fruit, juice, fresh bread and the most delicious cooked breakfast. All the fresh tea and coffee you could drink.excellent!
Janine is a superb host and is very friendly and warm. Really spotlessly clean and large tastefully designed rooms. An excellent place to get away and a great bar as well
Welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Large comfortable bedroom. Extensive communal rooms available for use. Unique Library and cosy reading room. Really an interesting and quirky place to stay. So much that I’ve already booked another night. Owner full of useful tips and got back to me quickly by phone when I needed to contact her prior to arrival. Parking easily available on street outside. Pub next door with delicious food. Very convenient place to stay when expiring National Trust properties especially Castle Ward.
Excellent accommodation in a lovely old building. Managed very well by Janine, who is very welcoming and willing to help with any queries. We will stay again - look forward to it
Service very friendly and helpful (kindly stored my bicycle overnight). Room was lovely, spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable 4 poster bed. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this place.
