Great property
The property was really nice. Waterfront was great, having the use of kayaks and canoe was great, the house and amenities were really nice, and everything was so clean. One of the surprising things this time around for us was there really weren’t any chores to do before we left which was a nice change from previous rental we have been too. The property owner was very responsive. Great relaxing stay!

Escape from NYC
This house was truly an escape to nature. The view from the backyard looks like a painting. We kayaked daily during our stay. The equipment for kayaking is on the property with life vests! Justin, thought of everything! We saw an eagle ( amazing). The lake is beautiful! We got some great pictures. The fire pit at dusk while making s'mores was idyllic. The home was clean and Justin provided everything you will need. Additionally the communication was effective and prompt! Parents creating memories for their daughters...Priceless!

Good cabin
Great first impression and comfortable house. The river where house was located was a bit of backwater-not the most scenic view of River and not the best fishing section. The sliding glass door did not slide well and was hard to open/shut especially for the kids, and thus got left open sometimes. All in all, a pleasant well-stocked place to stay.

Beautiful Scenery, Amazing stars
We had a fun filled, rain with sun and rainbows weekend! Beautiful lawn for kids and dog to play. Loved the cover porch for games and meal time. The beds were cozy and had everything we needed. Close to good fishing spots and hiked nearby in the fall foliage. Fire pit was nice at night!

Cozy Cottage
Property is nice and recently redone. Location is great for river access and central to Downsville. The ability to use on site kayaks and canoe is great. Host communication is excellent and Justin was accommodating. Only 2 wall unit ACs with 2 bedrooms not having anyway to cool or move the air around. Borrowed a fan from a friend. Bathrooms could use a little more counter/shelve space for toiletries. Would definitely recommend this location for a Downsville retreat!

Great place with great times
The house was very accessible and check in was easy. The interior was very clean with some local brochures to help guide you while on your stay. I recommend the hotel/Inn just in town very interesting with some great eats. We had a small issue with a propane tank and Justin was there to help on the spot. I highly recommend this spot on any fishing getaway or just a small family get away from the hustle. Bald eagles just outside your door every morning is a great reminder of how great nature can be. Thanks again for the great memories.

Quiet getaway
I would not recommend this property to anyone. Our experience was very unpleasant. This property did not provide any of the basic necessities that should be available to guests paying an extremely high price per night. This property is extremely overpriced and very poor quality.

Weekend fly fishing getaway
We had a nice time at the trout river house. The backyard is great for doggos and outdoor activities! The area was quiet and check-in was seamless. There are 2 window style air conditioning units but one is in the bedroom with bunk beds and the other in the kitchen so the other 2 bedrooms can get warm with the door closed. We will be back!

Me and my family had a great experience staying there. The river behind the house was really fun activity for all of us and especially for my nieces. There was kayaks and canoes available for us to use so we didn’t have to go anywhere to do an activity. The home was clean and cozy I would definitely love to rent it soon again. Great views the house had everything quiet and peaceful.

Visibly new property with scenic backyard views perfect for weekend getaway
Booked a last min weekend getaway with my parents and couldn't be happier with the experience. This is a newly renovated property and it shows - everything from the appliances (gas grill with utensils, kitchenware, dishwasher) to the rooms were clean and barely used. The backyard is where this property really shines. Mountain view and steel-ring firepit with complimentary firewood (bring a splitting axe if you have one) as well as portable plastic Adirondack chairs. The body of water in the backyard is a mini-bay of the eastern branch of the Delaware river - when we were there in late summer/early fall there wasn't much flow, however, if you follow it further downstream/upstream (main part of the river) I bet you could do some solid fishing. We also visited some antique stores in nearby Walton which were all lovely. Just as a note, this property is right by the side of the road and you can hear cars driving by during the day (very little traffic in the evening and at night), so perhaps not the most isolated. Nevertheless, we had in incredible time and wishes we stayed for more. Would return in a heartbeat!
