Church bells next door at 7.00am might be a dealbreaker for some but we had set our alarm for 7.00am so it wasn’t a problem. Parking is 300m away in a fenced lot and the hotel has no restaurant - but those were the only negatives we found. Breakfast was fine, there’s an elevator and the staff were helpful so that’s all we need.

Fabulous little village
This is a lovely little hotel. We visited late November 2013 and unfortunately the street that the hotel is located in was closed due to work on the 13th Century church immediately across the street, add to this the Christmas markets blocking off several other winding one way cobbled streets, drizzling rain and the fact that it was dark and you have an interesting dilemma for your GPS (every single way it took us we had to divert). We got there though and it was lovely! Friendly (english speaking) staff on the front counter, lovely room which was quite large and a central location in a beautiful town. Parking was a little way down the street, though if the road had not been closed outside we would have been able to drop our bags at the front door before we took the car to the carpark. All in all a very pleasant stay - would definitely recommend.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, in diesem Hotel in Meißen zu übernachten, und ich war rundum zufrieden. Das Hotel war sehr angenehm und sauber, was für mich einen hohen Stellenwert hat. Die zentrale Lage war ideal, um die Stadt und ihre Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem zu erkunden. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal, das stets bemüht war, meinen Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Das Zimmer war geräumig, gut ausgestattet und bot eine ruhige Atmosphäre, in der ich mich wunderbar entspannen konnte. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen und werde bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Meißen definitiv wieder hier übernachten.

I truly recommend this hotel. The staff/owners are very nice and friendly. The breakfast is until noon which is great for a nice and relaxing morning. Hotel is central and close to everything.
