The property is in terrible condition. they do not even clean the rooms. They decided to do work on another room's door at 9AM with banging and equipment grinding. it was terrible. Elevators had more employees using them then guests which made it a nightmare to go up and down. Shower did not work properly and water drain was blocked and therefore released water all over the washroom. nothing was done even after complaining... I can go on but I think this gives a clear idea about the property.

The most prime location of Dubai and the worst kept property in this location. Forget high end facilities, the floors were dirty, bathroom fittings were faulty even the window curtains were hanging with missing hooks. Something that basic wouldn’t cost more than a few cents but the owners and managers seem to lack motivation or attitude of being in service industry. It was my second time in this property and I book it for amazing view and location and accessibility to transportation. But I guess this was the last time I was at this property. I was misinformed that the new management had improved the quality of services. Liars.

The location is good near train station. Also located on Shiek Zayed Boulevard near shops and restaurants. The front desk personal was unpolite at the check in. He assigned us a different room of what we reserved. After I asked for a manager to speak, he left for a while then assigned the right reserve room after half an hour.

When you walk into the lobby, you think that this is a temporary hotel with a temporary front desk, I came in on a really busy day and it was absolutely mayhem, but I have seen it be more quiet on other days. The staff is slow, but they are nice, they’re trying their best. If you get a good rate on this room, take it. The hotel is under construction so some areas are a mess and some areas are perfect. I was on the 28th floor and got a huge room, but the room was really old, however , everything was clean. Then they asked me to move into the sixth floor because they were going to be doing construction on the 28th floor. They moved me to what they call a “suite” however it was smaller, but it was updated and again really clean. so by the looks of it, the hotel looks like it’s falling apart, but really, there is a nice staff. bedding is clean, Rooms have a small refrigerator, which is nice. And both of my rooms had an amazing view of the Burj Khalifa. And also right in front of the metro! The elevators are really slow so ask for a room that is lower level or else you’ll be stopping on every single level before you get to your floor. And the Internet is dodgy, it’s fine for a bit of work here and there, but if you are trying to take video calls, not sure this is a place to do it. If I got a good rate I would stay here again. Not glamorous at all but fine

Avoid if you can

From check in to check out this wasn't a great experience. The check is was extremely long when all i wanted to do was drop my bags as I was early. Eventually when I did check in the room cards didn't work ....nor did the replacements. The room could have been cleaner and so could the bedsheets. The hotel never addressed any concerns. There was no chair for the desk. You could hear the noise from the main highway quite loudly so I hardly slept for 2 or the 3 nights and it took ages to get lifts so everything took an age. I would avoid this place if you can. I spoke with other guests to see how they felt and they all said the same as me.

Horrible experience

Worst experience ever. There were guests arguing with the reception. From the conversation they wanted refunds due to the condition of the rooms. There was another lady who had been waiting for 3 hours because they could not find her booking. When I went up to the counter after waiting 25 minutes I was also told they couldn’t find my booking and asked me to have a seat. I left and called Hotels.com that could not help. So I booked a different hotel and was not refunded.

Here’s a more polished version of your review while keeping the strong dissatisfaction intact: A Total Disaster – Avoid at All Costs! My experience at Emirates Grand Hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. The hotel was under construction, with renovations happening on all floors. Construction materials were scattered everywhere, creating an unsafe and chaotic environment. The elevators were either damaged or barely functioning, making it extremely inconvenient to get around. On top of that, the customer service was completely incompetent—unhelpful, unresponsive, and nowhere near the standard expected for the price they charge. Speaking of cost, despite the hotel taking advantage of the exhibition period to demand a ridiculously high rate, the stay wasn’t worth even a fraction of what I paid. The rooms were in poor condition, and the overall experience was far below expectations. I strongly advise against staying here. Don’t risk your money or your comfort—look elsewhere!

Dirty room, terrible condition of the bathroom and the hotel staff were the least to say unorganized and not helpful. I requested several times to change the room and they postponed my move 3 times with the explanation that the room that I was supposed to move was occupied by a new guest!
