We were refused to check in by the hotel until we pay city tax, during the booking it was said 30 AED, when we came to the reception very rude lady was saying it is 200 AED she will not check us in until we pay, she also said we have no breakfast which we again paid for, we were asking please just check us in we need to run for an official event she refused again and we were forced to leave and rent somewhere else because of an emergency matter, we trued to reach the hotel after but it was silent, never got back to us, and even when we contacted Expedia they were calling the hotel and saying they do not pick up. After all we were refused for the refund, no one got back to us from the hotel with the explanation why their stuff is so rude, because the only receptionist working was swearing at us and using rude words as if we are stupid and done the booking wrongly

I never expected such poor quality from a 5-star property. Paint was peeling off the walls, the bathroom lock was broken, and the shower rack was damaged. Additionally, the sofa bed was completely uncomfortable. Despite my complaints, no action was taken. The front desk staff was rude. I would never recommend this property to any of my friends. I thought Expedia showed reliable ratings and genuine feedback, but that wasn't the case. I'm now questioning Expedia's credibility as well in my mind.
