Visiting Dublin at Christmas is a tradition for my wife and me. The Arlington Hotel, on the north of the Liffey, is just a 5-minute walk from Temple Bar, where you can enjoy overpriced pints of Guinness and loud Americans who want to be Irish 😂
Great hotel in a central location in easy reach of Temple Bar.

Excellent location
I love the Arlington due to it's prime location, helpful friendly staff and it has a great breakfast. Unfortunately it's becoming a little run down and worn. I return every year and I never see improvement just that it gets a little more run down, it's sad and such a shame.
The Arlington is a beautiful place to stay. I visited with friends from Canada and it's the perfect location right on the river and only a stones throw away from the Hapenny Bridge to cross over into the Temple Bar district and explore everything. The hotel itself was clean and tidy with large rooms overlooking the river. Definitely would stay here again the next time I visit.
This was a great place for me to stay in Dublin! I actually ended up eating in the restaurant most nights. The food was delicious. Could be a little loud on the weekends, but Dublin is a place of a lot of energy so that is to be expected, the staff were fantastic. That’s what made us stay so great.
Great location . The guy that help you with luggage was very nice .

Spend 2days there ,its in a really good location close to everything although the extractor fan wasn’t working properly and there was a bit of funny smell from the bathroom but everything else was okay
And the staff was really lovely and helpful
Had a great stay at Arlington hotel. Arrived at airport and took the dublin express bus into the city. Bus stop was only a few minutes walk to hotel and same on way back. Was situated by river, central for all shops, bars, restaurants and walkable to alot of the attractions, hotel was warm and cosy for the size, had a lovely big room with shower over bath. Only down side was room looked on to the accommodation across the street but was fine as was lovely and quiet for sleeping rather than being on the front with the busy main street. Breakfast was excellent with a superb choice would definately recommended. We ate at hotel a few times and couldn't fault the food and service. We went to the celtic show there and had a lovely 3 course meal with excellent choices available and fantastic entertainment. Everyone from reception to cleaning staff were polite and friendly. Would definately recommend a stay here and will be returning here on our next visit
