Reception was very friendly & welcoming. Room, which was an upgrade to executive level was very dark & window overlooked garbage from construction. Lounge was understaffed so service was very slow. Breakfast was adequate. Friendly & accommodating staff were the good points.

The hotel is located in a very nice part of Dubling, away from all the hussle of Temple bar and near the National Art Gallery. Staff was very friendly and rooms big and comfortable.

The Davenport is a beautiful hotel located within walking distance of most attractions. I travelled with my husband and adult daughter. Our room was very spacious, beautifully decorated ( Christmas decor), and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Charlene was especially nice, making our stay perfect. They are building a spa which should be finished next summer. I highly recommend!

Lovely property with amazing team. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean and well appointed. The best part is the staff, lovely, all of them, but especially the front desk. Highly recommend.

Great stay with one hiccup
The Davenport is perfectly located within walking distance to restaurants, shops and landmarks. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Service was good with the exception of the first day of our stay where the staff didn’t handle well the influx of guest visiting the restaurant, guest were turned down to an empty restaurant claiming that the restaurant was fully booked. A better way to manage reservation and accommodate guests should be implemented.

Working getaway.
I initially traveled out for the weekend with my family to do some sightseeing and shopping in Dublin. Once the family returned home, I remained for two days of work.The hotel is perfectly placed, close to restaurants, shops, parks and places of interest. The Davenport is staffed well with helpful and friendly personnel, they certainly made our stay exceptional.

Check in was easy. The hotel not only looks great from the outside but inside is very nice. The room was comfortable and eco friendly. Well thought out. Location is close to most areas of interest - walkable within 10/20 mins. Bus from the airport stops within 5 min walk. Staff were great - Charlene on our departure was GREAT, giving us fantastic local knowledge for the rest of our trip. Would recommend
