Very warm welcome. Rooms very comfortable and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again. Just a heads up that there is construction going on next door at the moment so quite noisy during the day.

Best Motel stay
I loved staying here, an amazing welcome from the owners and you are instantly made to feel like part of the family. The rooms are.spacious.and comfortable with everything you would need for a stay. The location is perfect and easy walk into shopping centre or uni and with plenty of parking.

Amross Motel was a fantastic stop for us on our drive around the South Island. Barry and Donna are so friendly and helpful, have a fantastic knowledge of the local area. The motel is super clean and has everything you could possible need for your stay. Guaranteed parking with no extra cost to your stay is a major plus. We stayed in one of the balcony spa rooms. The spa was very enjoyable after a big day of walking. 10/10 for the Amross Motel

This was a nice place, close to town. We were early and the hosts allowed us to park the car while we had lunch and explored the city until we could check in. The room was nicely equipped with a stocked kitchenette and comfy bed. We would definitely stay here again!

Barry and Donna were excellent hosts. They gave plenty of great advice on places to see and eating options. The place is located in the centre of Dunedin so you can walk to most things. The place is spotless and has just been renovated. I would recommend this place to anyone to stay. Has laundry facilities also.

Fantastic accommodation in fabulous Dunedin In summary, it’s beautiful lodgings in a really central and buzzy area. Spotlessly clean with great facilities. Most of all Barry and Donna were fantastic hosts who pointed us in all the right directions for food and activities. An absolute gem!
