the visit was purely an 'overnight halt', arriving at 18:30 and departing at 06:00, dined out in the evening, had two drinks at a reasonable price in the main bar, room was warm and comfortable but the offering for a 'packed lunch' in lieu of departing early and missing breakfast was very poor. ( two slices of a small loaf with a filling, a bag of crisps, a banana, a tin of coke and a packet of biscuits ). I would have accepted a basic price £5-00 cheaper and no inclusive breakfast. Have dined 'in house' on previous visit and found menu and quality of a good standard

Fabulous gem of a hotel. All the staff were really lovely, friendly and very helpful. Our room was lovely - spacious, lovely decor and comfy bed! Breakfast was fantastic. Overall brilliant - we will definitely be back

A hidden gem in Dunfermline
I really liked our stay here, the rooms are spacious and the bath is a nice touch. They also have an excellent restaurant which is a plus where you can enjoy all the Scottish delicacies around. The staff is really responsive and loved the 121 touch you get that you don't get from big chains. Support your local economy everyone!

City Hotel Dunfermline
Lovely hotel right in the centre of Dunfermline, close to restaurants and bars and the bus station.. We booked the family room for one night which had one double bed and two singles and was very spacious.. Highly recommended.

The customer service is fantastic in this hotel. They have several eating options- Resturant - Bars... The only issue I had was I was on the top floor which is actually 3 stories of stairs the last set being very thin and difficult for me to manage my suitcase. However MO- a fantastic young mand who carried my bag up and even said come find me when you are going to check out and I'll carry it down. And he did and it wasnt even his job THANK you Mo!!!!!
