Welcome to our charming 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom mountaintop condo, offering the perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and stunning views. Located just across from Purgatory Resort’s main lodge, this ideally situated retreat provides effortless access to the ski lifts, trails, and everything Purgatory has to offer, making it the ultimate year-round getaway.

The location of this condo is hard to beat. The East Rim Complex is centrally positioned near the main skier plaza, only a 2-3 minute walk to the Purgatory Express, the mountain’s fastest and largest high-speed lift. You’ll enjoy the perfect balance of proximity to the lively base village—featuring restaurants, shops, and ski amenities—while still maintaining the peace and privacy of a mountainside retreat.

With sweeping views of the San Juan mountains and a cozy interior, our condo is the ideal place to unwind after a thrilling day on the slopes, or to simply escape for a few days to relax and recharge. Recently furnished with thoughtful details and retro ski paraphernalia, it’s sure to exceed your expectations.

Guests rave about our well-stocked kitchen, designed for your convenience and enjoyment. You’ll find full cookware and bakeware sets, a tea kettle, toaster, crockpot, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, Brita pitcher, spice rack, and an assortment of coffee, cocoa, and tea to make your stay as comfortable as possible. For added convenience, we’ve equipped the unit with a new washer/dryer with provided laundry soap, and the bathrooms are kept fully stocked with hand soap/lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash—so you can travel light and focus on relaxation.

Ski locker provided and on site for storage of skis and ski gear.

Amenities abound with a full bathroom on each floor, a wood-burning fireplace, a charming retro spiral staircase, a gas grill on the deck, two smart TVs, and one basic TV with a selection of nostalgic VHS and DVD titles. We offer Wi-Fi for your connectivity needs, though please note there is no cable or landline. For a more unplugged evening, enjoy our great selection of board games for a cozy night in. The unit also includes two parking passes, so you’ll never have to worry about finding a parking spot during the busy season!

Our home is family-owned, but professionally managed and cleaned to ensure the utmost level of care and service. Whether you’re heading up the mountain for adventure or relaxation, our condo is the perfect place to make lasting memories!

Great Stay…As Advertised!

Recently stayed at this property with 4 adults and 4 kids under 12 and had a great stay! Home was as described with all the amenities one could need. The home was very organized as well. In addition, the host got back to us very quickly when we had a question.

We had several non skiers in our group and the location was great for all. The kitchen is very well stocked the only negative would be the spiral staircase but I do understand the need for it

Cutest Loft condo! Lots of room!

Many items added - kitchen stocked with essentials, den had books and dvds and it was really clean with brand new carpet! The cutest place and it was big enough for two huge couches and plenty of chairs! Neat staircase!

We were locked in the unit for hours

The management company is awful. There were 6 of staying at the unit. The upstairs shower had no hot water so we’re were all using one shower. We could have made due with this but then the internal handle broke off the front door and we were trapped inside the unit for almost 3 hours. Clearly the door handle had broken before and was not properly fixed. There were no instructions on how to reach the management company after hours. We kept getting the voicemail on the main number, which was very stressful. Since it was after 5 pm we we’re not sure when we would reach someone. Finally they called us back and sent help. We missed our dinner plans as a maintenance crew worked to get us out of the property. They had to remove the entire door knob and and lock apparatus so the door would no longer close. They covered it with tape and promised someone would return the next morning to fix it but they never returned so the door was left wide open for the rest of our trip. When I complained to the management company they were dismissive and unapologetic. They did not care that there were not clear instructions for how to reach them in an emergency, that we were trapped inside the unit and missed our plans for the evening or that our unit was not secure for the remainder of the trip. The owners should find a new management company.

Ski trip

Great condo with everything needed for your stay. Really enjoyed that it had a bbq pit on the balcony. My wife really enjoyed the fireplace. It was a little further from the lifts then I expected based on the listing. I also wish we could have had hot tub access, however we knew that it didn’t from the listing. Just a suggestion that the owner joins the Durango Mountain Club that way guests can use the facilities. Thanks for a great and very comfortable place for my family of 5.

Awesome communication

Although not a true ski in ski out, the lift is a short walk from the condo. Well stocked, although we are pretty sure the coffee maker was the slowest in existence. Fireplace was awesome, spacious for everyone to sleep comfortably and lots of blankets. If you are 6ft you cannot comfortably shower upstairs.

Nice rental .

Clean property, close location, only problem was I made one piece of toast on level 2 of 5 and it set the smoke alarm off . As per the instructions I had to call property manager to report it as to avoid the fine. Maybe the location of sensor should be adjusted a little. But over all nice place to stay

Good overall

Overall the property was good. We had some issues finding the correct unit. The address takes you to the 3 building and this unit is the first building. You can’t see the letters (A, B, C) for the unit in the dark at all. We also had issues trying to figure out which lock to use. If there was a physical key or the code on the door. We could not get the turn knob on the lock to completely unlock the door. I think by the time we left we finally had it figured out. The upstairs bathroom’s water turn on/off knob seemed to be broken. It was very loose. The water would just go from the temperature you set it at to either scolding hot or freezing cold. We all ended up using the downstairs shower. But other than those few things that weren’t break or make, it was a nice place.

Fully Equipped Condo

This is by far the best-equipped condo we have ever stayed in. The kitchen was better stocked with top-of-the-line pots and pans, spices, cookbooks....even more than I have in my own kitchen. For the location, the condo was very quiet. There was some outside vehicle noise, but I didn't hear the neighbors at all. The king-size bed was very comfortable. I wish it had a Keurig coffee maker, but that is just because I love my coffee. I would definitely recommend staying here and I look forward to coming back next year.

Spectacular and great location

We enjoyed our stay @ the property with gorgeous view from deck, and the condo has fully equipped with comfy beds, cooking spices all little details for guests. The host is very helpful and quick in responding with our concerns. We highly recommend this property for family with children because its very convenient and across all Purgatory resorts activities, and its only 30 mins away Durango if you like to do more activities. We highly recommend it to friends and family and love to come back again

Best place in Colorado

It was one of the best places I stayed in Colorado. The house felt like home and the host were helpful and kind. The location was my favorite part since it's right in the mountains. I'm definitely coming back.

Can't wait to return!

We stayed with our two children and we all loved it! We were so pleased to find it was every bit as lovely and cozy as it looks in pictures. Pleasantly surprised to find a table and 4 chairs (not currently pictured) on the balcony. The view from the balcony is everything! Mountains, trees, small lake, and valley. Beautiful! I wanted to spend all my time out there, but had to keep up with my busy family. Furnishings are in excellent shape, plentiful, and comfortable. Everything you need in the kitchen. Huge dining table. Plenty of room for more than our 4 travelers. We enjoyed evenings by the fireplace playing the nostalgic board games supplied. Kids were thrilled with the abundance of movies and places to watch them, though we kept them too busy to take advantage. Fantastic location close to the main plaza at the resort. Fast, helpful responses from hosts. We'll be back!
