The Space:
Pirates Retreat is located in the small town of Eaglehawk Neck, just an hour's drive from Hobart, TAS. A comfortable 139 square meters tiny home country stay near Tessellated Pavement, Waterfall Bay Lookout, and Tasman Arch.
Enjoy easy access to water, split air conditioning to keep you cool and comfortable, a well-equipped kitchenette, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home and its surrounding areas. We also provide guided tours of the garden by prior arrangement with the host.

Getting Around:
By car: We recommend guests hire a 2WD to explore nearby towns, local markets, and shops.
Other Things to Note:
- No unregistered guests are allowed
- Only fully house-trained pets are allowed
- Pets should be kept in an area close to the tiny house
- Pets are allowed and are limited to only one dog or cat
- No smoking inside the tiny homes; only in designated areas
- We have a BBQ grill accessible to guests by prior arrangement
- Water is safe to drink but should be boiled before drinking or cooking
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the compost toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
