Our room on the first floor wasn’t very clean. It had a funky smell and it was very humid in the room. Not sure if the air conditioning was working properly. The hallway didn’t smell good either. Floors were not cleaned well along the edges.

Found a few ants in our room. WiFi was super slow. Eggs and orange juice were probably the cheapest and off tasting we have ever had at a motel. Price was ok.

The receptionist was not prepared and took a lot of time to check us in and prepare keys. Though he found the reservations immediately, it took him a long time to check us in and give us the keys. The bath mat was frazzled and should have been trashed long ago. The breakfast was OK, but not exceptional. The usual somewhat warm premade powdered eggs and sausage patties. The muffins were packaged, not fresh. I expected a bit better than what I would find as a low priced economy motel.

My go-to when in Eau Claire. Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly desk, bar is a plus, close to restaurants n shopping. Convenient access to highway. Best value in town
