Room was large with terrace. Bed was unconfortable.Parking is outside in front of hotel with cameras but open street. Breakfast was extremely poor, just some yoghurt and small low cost cheese. Receptionist is kindly. Also you get free ticket for public transport. Internet is low quality

Great value, compared to prices in Lausanne. Transit was great, close to grocery stores. Dinner at 5:30 pm was not possible. Fridge wasn't very cold, room was warm (fan but no air conditioning). Staff were friendly and helpful (especially answering TONS of questions by email before my trip).

Convenient hotel in the Lausanne area.
Good place for an overnight stay. Location is in a quiet residential area so nothing much within walking distance. The hotel has a self-service check in for out of hours arrivals. Breakfast room was large and attractive - breakfast was ok. A slightly quirky hotel based on the theme of inventions but perfectly good for a short stay in the Lausanne area.

This is clean and quiet property (despite adjoining construction), set amid a residential and light industrial area. It is walking distance to a shopping center containing a huge grocery store (Migros), where I often bought my meals among its prepared selections, including canapes! And it is also walking distance to the local light rail station. The hotel staff gave me adequate instructions to find it and also free travel on it for the duration of my stay. The hotel ordered a taxi for me the evening before my early departure the next morning & the taxi did not show. I called the hotel emergency number and the hotel immediately called another and I made my connection. I would not recommend including the breakfast for your stay. Experiment with it one morning & make your own decision. Clearly I was disappointed. Also, there is no air conditioning and there was record heat during my stay. The fan in the room was adequate to move the air. Also, the staff speaks passable English and is happy to help with everything!

Reasonable stay
The hotel and the room are awesome. I reached early so the reception person was kind enough to make some changes and enable my early checkin. In addition I had to add two days to my original stay and when I called them they were super prompt in making the adjustments. The only aspect I found inconvenient is their front desk closes at 6 pm and then opens at 8 am. These were the times of my conference so I could never have met them for any issue. I had locked my laptop in the safe and when I called them in the night (late) they answered the phone and were super curt -- we will fix it in the morning! Nothing about how it affected my work, or that I could not have made it at 8 am since I would leave by 7:45 am for my conference. So as long as you have no issues, this is a good place to stay. Far from metro (15 min walk) but good location for staying close to EPFL.

Nice hotel, conveniently close to amenities.
The hotel was perfectly situated for my personal needs as I wanted somewhere to stay close to family. It is situated within walking distance of a shopping centre and about 10 minutes from Renens station where there are plenty of restaurants and cafes. The restaurant is only open for breakfast and there is no room service as such or a bar, so there isn't an option to have meals or drinks there. There is a vending machine for snacks and drinks in the lobby. The room however was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and with a big bed, tv and fridge available. It suited my needs perfectly and I would certainly book again.

Nice hotel and great beds
This was a great hotel for us to spend a week with our friends in Switzerland. However, there was a used q-tip in the corner of the bathroom for the entire stay. Apparently no one looks in the corners. I kept waiting for someone to spot it but they didn’t.

You get your keys by a boot after putting your credit card. There no one in the reception. The only staff we met was the lady in the donning room. The room was ok and we only sent there 12 hours.

Ensuite or not ensuite?.... not till check-in
Told it was ensuite while booking though only found out shared bathroom at check in. The receptionist said us all room are shared bathroom and we were welcome to cancel if we were not happy. It was late and raining outside. What a great advise! Much appreciated!!!

The three stars hotel delivers all four. Large leaving and bathrooms, nice furniture, balcony (!), stable wifi. I liked their breakfasts. Wide selections of so-called continental breakfast ingredients. You can boil eggs yourself with a special boiler, really entertaining. Competent, hospitable personnel. Near to metro: about 8 minutes walk to Epenex station. As for every hotel in Lausanne, on check-in you get the free pass — Lausanne Transport card valid for all your stay. Just enjoy!

incredibly convenient to airport
Stayed overnight for a CDG morning departure. Took the RER from Paris and got in late to CDG station. Hotel is not part of the CDG airport hotel bus system, which caused some stress but once we realized easy tram ride got us to the terminal by the hotel, it was only a 15 minute tram ride and walk to get to hotel. Rooms are tiny but functional and teenagers loved the rooms.
