No hot water

The hotel is nice and clean and the breakfast was very good. It could have been improved by having black pudding in the option for the fried breakfast. Our room also didn’t have any hot water in the morning. I did call reception who said it will be fixed in 30 minutes so we went for breakfast first. An hour later I tried again but there was still no hot water. We ended up running out of time to move room so we had to leave without washing which I was unhappy about.

Extremely Disappointing Experience

Quick and efficient check in but our entire experience was spoiled by the fact that the room had no hot water. Unable to shower prior to our evening meal. Despite the assurance of both maintenance and reception staff that the boiler had been fixed we received no more than 1 hour of lukewarm water all evening before it became cold again. No hot water in the morning so mentioned it again to reception staff prior to our breakfast. Very disappointed to receive a nonchalant almost “shrug of the shoulders “ response from reception staff which is not what we have been used to at this Hotel over many years. Perhaps the new staff require a refresher course in customer service. Breakfast hot food unfortunately cold and alternative choices not of a particularly high quality. Departed hotel to attend a family lunch not having been able to have a shower. As visitors to the Leonardo many times over many years it has left us wondering whether the standards are slipping and of alternative options in the future.

A comfortable place to stay, and very well located

This was my third visit and I will be happy if I get the chance to stay here again. Helpful people, on the desk and on emails (thanks, Tetiana Krasnozhon!). There are places where a bit of maintenance is needed; the TV doesn't support BBC radio channels; the 'rainfall' shower head and lack of bathplug is difficult for those not wanting wet hair; and the kettle nook does present headbanging opportunities! Also, I'd appreciate a choice NOT to have towels replaced daily. But... The room was spacious and comfortable; everything worked; an in-room fridge is a blessing; the bed was comfortable and everything was clean. All being well, I will be back sometime.

Not too good.

Clean room, bed comfortable but the bathroom was small and the toilet flush was broken. When using the shower, the water came out under the glass screen onto the floor. Could not control the air conditioning without contacting reception. We coukd hear other residents using their bathrooms constantly.Breakfast was included but the cooked breakfast was cold on both mornings. Staff did not regularly refill the eggs, bacon etc. Coffee was also luke warm. No draft beer at the bar as it had run out. Staff on reception were great. Staff in the restaurant were awful and most couldn't be bothered to speak or clear the tables.

Breakfast was nice. However the noise heard inside the room was unacceptable. Outside noise and upstairs kept me up Most of the night. There is no noise insulation for this hotel.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable but the bathroom was a little dirty around the bath taps the paint on the door frame needed to be repainted and it had the odd mark on the carpet.
