Not the room which photo displayed on ebookers

They offered me another room & advise me to complain at ebookers as they claimed that the mistake from ebookers. They offered me extra room with 50% discount as only solution. The manager refused to talk to us even over the phone giving his order too the receptionest. We paid 195 Gpp for the second room.

Some rooms are smaller than online pictures

Location: Good central location with easy access to Attractions, shops and restaurants. Supermarkets are a 2min walk
The apartment room we were given initially was very small and compact. Not like the pictures I'd seen online when booking. We also noticed a funny smell in the room. On inspection we found the kitchen bin had not been emptied and had probably been there quite a while with things now rotting. On contacting the reception staff about this issue, we were immediately moved to a bigger apartment further down the corridor. This room was more spacious than the first and had no funny smells!! Staff were really helpful in all matters, such as parking, local info, and baggage hold. We also managed to park our car for free for our 2 night stay in a car park which is a 5 min drive from the hotel. (Pollock Halls) It's best to enquire about this as all the staff were not aware of this added facility.

excellent location for The Fringe

Apartment was great value - clean and comfortable. Only problem was noise from the Poundland warehouse which is directly below

our first trip to Edinburgh

the apartment was in a good central position very near to Holyrood park . Ideal for us as we enjoy walking and we had the added bonus of amazing views across Edinburgh . The apartment itself was very modern and clean and big enough for 2 people for a short break . Found a great micro- brewery a short walk away called Ushers . Had a good selection of ales and good music. well worth a visit .

Excellent location and great facilities

I stayed on my own so it was great. If there were two people then it would have been quite cosy but for just a few nights perfectly bearable and well worth it for the money and the location.

Well located but small

Very comfortable bed, though due to lack of space, one side was hard up against the glass partition. Good wardrobe space and best hairdryer I've ever come across in accommodation! Clean and fully functional bathroom. However, only one comfy chair in the small living area, no oven (just microwave). Other residents have mentioned noise, and this was a problem - very noisy arrival in the middle of the night (conversation + noise of trolley suitcases) woke us up. Lovely, helpful staff. All in all, fine for one night but wouldn't want to be staying any longer.

Affordable and very convenient location

I was very happy with this choice. It was much cheaper than a 5 star hotel and even included a kitchen. The location was fantastic.
