If you like staying in huts or cabins and have extra days near El Chalten it is worth the trip up to Laguna Condor. The property has 8 tiny cabins and a central lodge. You can hike, bike, and kayak nearby and away of the bustling crowds on the popular El Chalten hikes. Fitz Roy Expeditions is associated with the lodge and can arrange more excursions. If you like a semi rustic experience you will enjoy it here. Friendly staff and good food. Make sure to soak in the wood fired hot tub and have a jump in the river. Serene place. We were the only guests on the property in late November (which is still considered early season) and loved it.

The property was immaculate, and the couple there managing our experience made it even more incredible. Not only was the food delicious and obviously prepared cleanly and with great love, but the made the ambiance so nice it helped fuel me to propose to my girlfriend while staying here. It was amazing to have their help with experiences, hiking champagne, and a warm hot tub and bed to return to, along with countless other options. We cannot wait to return with friends and possibly even celebrate a future wedding :-) Thank you again for the wonderful experience.

Awesome Experience!!
Laguna Condor is an amazing place, especially if you're looking for peace and quiet before starting your day of trekking. Awesome breakfasts and dinners, prepared by the staff. The cabins are perfect retreats that offer a rustic escape, but with everything you need. The lodge is beautiful and warm. Emma and Facundo are terrific and we will definitely return to see them again!!

Mangelhaft
