Great stay at Mua Tala. The views are out of this world, all the staff are friendly and helpful, everything was super clean.
Everything did close up early and it’s fairly out the way so great for a quiet stay but maybe not for you if you want lots of choices and bustle although a transfer was easy and cheap.
Would highly recommend
We had an amazing stay at this wonderful hotel! The service was absolutely top-notch — every member of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The views from our balcony were simply breathtaking, with the sea stretching out endlessly and unforgettable sunsets every evening. It was truly a perfect experience, and we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway!

Beautiful quality rooms and very attentive, friendly service through out the hotel. There is the most spectacular veiw out over the beach and ocean from the rooms and all public areas. Watching stunning sunsets from the pool was a highlight.
The Beach Shack downstairs is a great place for a casual lunch or dinner & drinks, with lots of choices. Plenty of sun lounges & chairs on the beachfront & the complimentary use of paddle boards & kayaks was fantastic. We truly loved our stay & didnt find the many stairs to the room too taxing.
The property is in an amazing secluded area that is close enough to everything but gives you a little piece and quiet not to mention the beach is perfect.. We will be back same time next year.
This property have a million dollar view. I had stay there for seven nights. The breakfast was so so, Most of the time is a bit too salty. There are 2 servers are very exceptional, Lila and Ariel, Lila, she is very patient explaining the menu of local food to my wife. In the morning, the dining room is undermanned. I had observed that certain customer did get frustrated with the server, only one server in the morning for the entire dining room. Can only do so much by one person if too many guests show at one time.
The morning I checked out. It was very early---0400 hrs. my flight was 0600 hrs.The hotel sent 2 helpers to my room to assist my luggages. They were extremely on time. I would stay there again.
Mua Tala was exceptionally clean! The bed was comfy, and the shower had great water pressure which was lacking in a previous resort. The rooms were exactly how it was online, but better. Staff were helpful and very friendly. They carried our luggage’s from the beach front to our van transfer which was very very appreciated. We would recommend others to stay here and we would again whenever we return to El Nido :)
The hotel is beautiful, the views are stunning, the infinite pool, the bathroom, and I could go on and on, the best I have to say was the staff, they made feel us comfortable from the first moment, Norvin was very kind and helpful all the time as so were everyone else. We loved the place and will strongly recommend to everyone.
Lovely very elegant beachside property. Hotel is not drivable, you have to walk a fair distance from the road to property along the beach. There are no elevators so getting to the rooms is not suitable for anyone not willing to climb multiple sets of stairs.
Great location, easy access to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Did not have to go to the town proper for our island hopping tour. We were picked up and dropped off in front of our hotel. Only thing is we had to climb 130 steps to get to our room which had a spectacular view.

WiFi did not work. AC did not work. No TV in room. I asked for a power adapter to charge Bluetooth speaker that was provided in the room and they just removed the speaker instead of providing a power adapter. For $330 per night, I was very disappointed. There is no parking, so if you have a rental car, as I did, you have to park on the very busy main highway and walk 700 m to the beach and hotel. The hotel is right on the beach, literally right next to the water, which is nice. It’s also a very busy beach, so take note if you’re looking for a quieter place. The hotel next door had a DJ playing at fairly high volume most of the afternoon into the evening. So no afternoon naps. The view is fantastic and it’s nice listening to the waves. The shower was great, very hot water. The breakfast buffet was solid. But I can’t get past this place not being able to provide basic amenities like WiFi and AC properly at that price point. I would definitely not stay here again and recommend against it.
Mua Tala is a gorgeous hotel. The view from our room “ UDTO” was spectacular. The staff is so nice and super helpful. Shena especially the restaurant host was extremely nice and accommodating. My son became sick while there and Shena and the chef suggested that they make Arroz Caldo for him. I thought that was extremely thoughtful. I asked if they had champorado on their menu and they said no but they made some while we were there. It was delicious. I definitely will recommend this resort.
They will not regret it. Thank you to all the guys who carried our luggage’s through 6 flight of stairs. That was the only downfall was the stairs but I just thought it’s my exercise for the day.
Amazing place! The room was beautiful, staff were great and the views were breathtaking! I see negative reviews about the stairs up to the rooms! Yes they’re a little work but this is clearly outlined in the hotel description. 10 out of 10 I was stay here in a heartbeat again!
Mua Tala staff where very courteous and welcoming. We enjoyed the bkfst buffet each morning including local Filipino dishes. The location is convenient to the Vanilla Beach and further Sunset view and beyond as far as Dolarog Beach.
The Room (called Aga) was spacious, clean and we had a great view. Unfortunately, the WIFI did not work during the 5 days we stayed. Communication was very difficult as many staff members do not speak proper English. Although breakfast was included, you can only choose one meal option per person. Also only one cup of coffee is complementary. If you wish to have a second you have to pay for it. Service staff informs you only after you finish this second cup. So be aware. Compared to the room rate this service can be called very poor and overall it is not worth the money. I am sure you can find others that offer the same for a more reasonable price or more for the same rate. The staff though is friendly and makes an effort.
This hotel was very beautiful. Infinity pool, sitting areas and restaurant all very clean and nice. The rooms were very nice with awesome views. The beach shack downstairs was awesome. This hotel was so special because of the staff. Shout out to Ariel at the beach shack. Dining staff of Jimbie, Jona, Shena and Danica made our stay absolutely fantastic. The owner should be proud of such wonderful staff. Sincerely, Bradley and Mia Anderton.
