La Grange, a century old small barn with private studio loft apartment & deck, has been stylishly transformed into a bewitching and artsy bohemian wonderland! In a tranquil village setting, yet close to nature - both river and woods just steps away, let La Grange transport you to a simpler world. La Grange is rustic yet up to date with modern amenities such as wifi, tv, bbq grill, mini fridge, induction cooktop, toaster oven, & AC/heat. & sofa bed. Get away from it all at La Grange in historic Elsah, Illinois!

You will enter the studio apartment by a private entrance and ascend one flight of stairs to the unit. Within the space you will find all the modern amenities for a comfortable stay including a mini split HVAC system for heat and A/C. Kitchen includes mictowave, mini fridge, full size sink and dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster oven, portable induction cooktop which can also be used on the deck, dishes & silverware, pots and pans and basic cooking utensils.

Living room includes small table & chairs, L shaped sofa sleeper, trunks for storage, decor, blankets, lamps, and swivel Smart TV. Bedroom area opens onto the living area and includes double bed with bedding USB outlets, lamps, and hanging swing. Please note this is a small studio approximately the size of a hotel room and may not be suitable for more than 2 people.

Bathroom includes fully tiled shower, toilet, sink, hairdryer, toiletries and towels.

Large deck overlooking the peaceful village includes 2 chairs, table, and gas grill/grill table.

Excellent place to stay!
The place is in a cute little village just outside of major locations that felt very cozy. The place was overall very clean and felt nice to stay in. Overall, I would definitely come back if I were to go to this area again!

Cute but not Comfortable
The apartment itself was so Cute & village very quaint. Unfortunately we couldn't get the air conditioner to work and seeing it was an aloft it got very warm. Also the bed and couch were both very uncomfortable. The space itself is fine for 2 people but very cramped with four adults.
