Really enjoyed a homestay where we comfortably used the kitchen to cook our evening meal and then relax in front of the slow combustion stove. Bedroom and bathroom were good quality and Leon the host was very hospitable. Nice continental breakfast too.

Leon the owner is an absolute superstar. So accommodating and can’t do enough. The property itself is beautiful and secluded. Just a short 15 min drive to local amenities and around 25 into Ballarat centre itself. If I’m ever in the area again, this will be the place.

Lovely quiet location for an overnight getaway. Our host Leon was very helpful, even moving his car out of the garage so we could park our motorbikes in there overnight. The house was spotless with great amenities and the beds were extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Welcoming & attentive host, couldn’t do enough for us without being intrusive. Very comfortable & spacious accommodation. Generous breakfast with a cuppa at any time. Absolutely beautiful stay with Leon. He couldn't have been a more welcoming and gracious host. If you're ever looking to stay in the area, this is it. Saw a kangaroo on the property first thing in the morning too so you know it's special!

Beautiful stay
This is our second time staying here, and again we were so impressed. Everything from the warm welcome, plentiful and amazing continental breakfast, to the beautifully appointed rooms, makes staying at Helen’s an absolute joy. On this occasion Leon our host had the fire lit for our arrival, so our evening was spent enjoying wine and cheese in front of the fire. Highly recommend, and I know we will definitely return again soon.
