A Discrace
One of the worst places I've stayed. The toilet dreadful the Electrics dangerous. Staff and friend sat outside my door smoking pot. Very uncomfortable night. On the roof 4 floors up by stairs . I think being a hotels.com customer you get the rooms on the roof and they are not nice.

Room for Improvement but in a great location
It is a lovely authentic Riad in a great location within a few minutes walk to the Medina, cafes and beach. Amenities could be improved and the plumbing in the bathroom is a problem. Ask for extra blankets as Riads can be cold in December.

I would stay there again
It must be the best terrace in Essaouia. You have the old town right on front of you. Friendly owner. 5 min walk from the bus station. Good breakfast. I would stay there again.

質実剛健な男前宿
こちらの宿はまさに必要にして十分な宿だ。モロッコ風の可愛い宿を探しているのであれば、それは少し違うかも知れない。ここは、男らしい清潔感のある宿だ。そして、支配人の方はものすごく親切で、気を遣ってくれる。困ったことがあったら、なんでも彼に相談すれば良い。言語学を勉強していたという彼は、どんなにブロークンな英語でも理解してくれる。はじめはお湯の出し方がわからず、お湯がでないと相談したら、ただ長く出し続けてお湯が出てくるのを待てば良いだけであることを教えてくれた。そんな風に困ったことは相談すれば、解決してくれる。調度品もそれほどないので、その分掃除が行き届いており、アレルゲンがない。ダストアレルギーをもつ私は、たくさんの調度品をしつらえた可愛い宿に泊まると、少し鼻炎が発生する。この宿ではそういうことはなかったし、ハエもほぼゼロ。しかも大通りに面していて、女性の一人旅でも夜細くて暗い道を通って、宿に帰らずに良いところも利点。朝のカフェオレはとても美味しく、テラスで海を見ながら食べられる。この屋上テラスからの景色はそれだけで毎朝得した気分になる。夕暮れ時もおすすめ、時期に寄っては海に沈む夕陽が宿からちょうど見られるのではないかと思う（要確認）。テラスほか自由に使わせてもらえるので、外でお昼やビールなどを調達し、ここで夕陽を見ながら食事ということもできる。宿に泊まる人達とも仲良くなれる。女性の一人旅に優しい宿だと思う。住めば住むほど、味わいの増す宿だ。
