If you want to enjoy Rocky Mountain National Park, then one place to stay is in Estes Park. Estes Park is a cute, but a little busy, town that is only 10 minutes from the park entrance. From this location, you can walk down (and then up again--tough at 7500 feet) some stairs from the cabin to the town. There is a communal jacuzzi for the cabins that we used several times during our stay (great after a long hike). There is a communal washer and dryer that is shared amongst the cabins on the property. This was a great cabin to stay at. Please note that there is not a dishwasher on the property. Also, please be careful on the deck. There are some loose railings, splintering wood and exposed nails out there. So, we never went out there barefoot. We did enjoy seeing Elk, Marmot, and bunny rabbits run around our cabin periodically. Lastly, my security deposit was returned in a timely manner by the owners which was great to see!!
