Great place, close to campus, dog friendly.
The room was well appointed with stylish bedding, ports for charging at the bedside;just bring your cord, and in our King room a comfy couch. There was also a Keurig and small fridge. There is a bar on the premises for evenings, Breakfast was acceptable. Our pooch loved the dog bone station. If you book through Hotels, they ask that you call the property to let them know you have a dog as those rooms are limited.

Never having stayed in Eugene before, we took a chance on a non-chain hotel and were pleasantly surprised. Room was clean, bed comfy; in the sweet bar on property the bartender (Taylor) fixed me a fantastic cocktail & poured my husband a beer and we had a great time playing shuffleboard before going next door for some pizza. Look forward to visiting again when it’s not dark & rainy so we can rent a couple bikes and see the campus & town.

Room was clean and modern as were all areas we were in. Area felt safe. Check-in, breakfast and the pool are all in the main bldg, there are 3 buildings with rooms. Hot and cold breakfast options. Great value

If you are in Eugene to visit the University of Oregon Hayward Inn is a good choice. I wouldn't say the nearby dining options are great but they are good. Track Town Pizza right next door has very good pizza and next to Track Town Pizza is a Starbucks. I don't think of the area as being especially walkable because the hotel is located on Franklin Boulevard which is six Lanes wide and very busy

Overall great stay. Only reason for 4star is we stayed a week and they did not refreash rooms and only did so upon request. Overall not a major issue but had to ask for clean towel every few days
