Pleasantly surprised about this hotel, it was cheap but really cozy and friendly stuff. room was better than expected. Breakfast options actually pretty decent and you can walk over the road for more options. easy walk around the park and Autzen stadium As well. Also found out it was Dog friendly which is always a plus

Nice, modern, clean hotel close to UO, next door to a Starbucks, friendly and helpful staff, and not overpriced. This is my second stay at The Maverick and it will be my first choice any time I go to Eugene.

This is an older motel, but recently renovated. The room and grounds are well maintained and very clean. The best part of our stay was the wonderful staff. Our receptionist upon arrival, Emiliano, was so friendly and accomadating. He took one look at our tired, world weary faces and immediately moved us from a second floor room to the first floor. We were going to ask but we didn't need to. When checking out this morning and partaking of the delicious choices for breakfast, we were greeted by Alexa and Tamara. Again, so friendly! What is most striking about all 3 of these hospitality professionals is that they embody the essence of the word hospitality. They are genuinely happy to welcome travellers. They take an interest in each individual and my wife and I felt very much at home in their presence. I highly recommend the Maverick Hotel!

This hotel was surprisingly awesome. From the moment we arrived to the lobby the staff was so sweet and attentive. Then when we got into the room, the room was immaculate and decor was very nice and modern. Comfortable beds, really nice towels even toiletries were Paul Mitchell, (not a no name product) The breakfast was hands down the best continental breakfast we have ever had, not only did they have a great variety (for people with food sensitivities as well) but the options were all top notch. They had Red mill oatmeal and breakfast sandwiches, bagels, pastries and on and on.... There was even a cool firepit area to hang out at. It was just awesome....

At check-in the receptionist told me locals aren’t allowed to stay there according to policy. “People who live within 33 miles of Eugene are not supposed to be able to stay here according to policy.” Seems like a bad idea in the off season, but oh well. There are better stays in Eugene for far less money.
