The hotel is a 2 star hotel with a 4 star price. Ana and Daria on reception were pleasant enough but the rest of the staff below par. Restaurant was small and the food was just above average and the service was below average. The bar area was the smallest had the smallest bar and seating area that I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The room was below standard and needed a hoover around it. Freezing cold and difficult to warm the room up. Bear in mind it was the beginning of January. For £215 for 2 nights it was a complete rip off. I would have be disappointed paying £100 for 2 nights. Hotel looks decent from the outside but once you enter the hotel, it’s like you’ve become a guest in fawlty towers. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels over the years and this is probably the worse one

Lovely Hotel in a Lovely Location

This hotel is lovely, the grounds are well kept - very clean and tidy. Walking routes very close to the hotel - lovely walk. There are lots of car parking spaces available at the hotel. The staff were friendly. The room was very pleasant, it was clean, spacious and the heating was perfect! Breakfast was good and plenty to choose from. The only negative is that it took the staff at breakfast a long time to bring out more wholemeal bread, they never did bring us the ketchup we asked for and not sure why the receptionist needed to know exactly what time we will be having breakfast the next day?!

Lovely location next to lake and close to pretty v

We used the hotel as we were attending a wedding and had lunch at the hotel. Food was very good . The staff were very friendly and as we were early made every effort to allow us entry into the room before normal check in time.

Perfect quiet midweek getaway

The hotel room decor is dated and the bed was a bit soft for us but the shower was really good. The midweek overnight stay was relaxing. It was quiet and the lakeside setting is lovely. The food in the restaurant was decent and the service efficient. The cost for the stay was excellent and made it really good value for money.
