The place has been made very warm, and tastefully attired, a pleasure to walk into. All very comfortable and clean. The food was delicious… fish and chips and fully English breakfast .. fresh ingredients perfectly cooked. Both Charlotte and Gemma who served me provided most warm welcoming and helpful hospitality and hosting. I was just passing through but would absolutely recommend anyone to stay at this delightful place and certainly to dine.

Perfect stay for Dover port..

Thank you for your friendly welcome and cheerful staff. The bar, restaurant and bedroom is beautifully designed and decorated. The big bed is really comfortable and we loved the new bathroom with rolltop bath and sunflower shower. Fabulous drinks and breakfast. Only 30 mins to Dover port...we'll be back!!

Nicely renovated pub and B&B

Positives: - quiet - family run - nicely renovated & clean - bar and restaurant onsite - nice comfortable rooms - very polite and nice staff Improvements: - bathroom smells mouldy - need a shower curtain (water allover floor) - WiFi reception could be better in room - not sure why the garden area with all the picnic tables was locked and unavailable. Would've been nice on a summer day.

Lovely relaxing night away!

We had a lovely stay at The White Horse, such an amazing property. We had a great meal, drinks in the well set our beer garden and a lovely breakfast. The room was finished beautifully, lovely touches from the decor, amazing shower, gorgeous toiletries to good tea & coffee. The staff were really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
