Shouldn't judge a book by its cover
The place looks a bit questionable from the outside, but the room as new, clean and comfortable - all you could ask for in an side of the highway overnight stay. Plus reception was super friendly by phone as was the night shift in person.

We stayed here one night and for been a 2 star hotel is excellent. Our room 117 where we stayed was clean. no carpet, The floor was remodeled and the room was pretty. Welove it. The owner take very good care of the hotel!

Hotel rate was very reasonable; staff was friendly; the room updates were good (no carpeting-a huge plus); room was clean, however A/C (or HVAC system) could use an update-the room felt damp.

The first room we went into the popcorn ceiling was falling down in areas, the second room the ceiling was all rippled and ready to give way. The bathroom above the shower had blackish looking mold on the ceiling. The toilets did not flush well. The only positive I can comment on is it was pet friendly and staff were very nice!
