Colorful decorative furniture and rugs in living room with a large smart TV over the fireplace right off of the full kitchen and separate dining room! This spacious home has a comfy King bed in the master bedroom with an adjoining full bathroom with the guest queen bed bedroom, bith with large windows and smart TVs! The bunkbed room has a full bed in bottom and twin on top with a full bath beside it in the rear hallway! Stroll downtown past our beautiful Wilson Park with a huge water fountain, elaborate public library, UNA college (5 blocks away), historical post office or our (Shoals)Theatre that has a variety of shows including plays, concerts, comedians, etc.! (3 blocks away) Sit outside along the cobblestone (3 blocks away) at Rivertown Coffee Shop, The Carraige Wine Market, Lost Pizza, Wildwood Tavern or The Chicago Cafe! Or continue one more block to (Court Street) & many more shops, restaurants, pubs, etc.!

RTJ golf outing

Very nice place to relax after a golfing. Nice to be able to walk a few blocks to downtown eateries. Highly recommend staying here. We will be back next year.

Roomy Home But In Desperate Need of Repairs

Home is in major need of repairs such as the showers, the floors in the kitchen hallway and rear bathroom are all slanted enough to make you feel off-balance. The heating and air unit does not work but we did not find this out until late on the night before we left. Late on the first night when we arrived, there was pubic hair all in the shower and all over the curtain in the tub was backfilling because of a clog of hair. We were able to get the shower working without calling the host, but it was a little disgusting. The master bedroom bed is being held together by small pieces of a 2 x 4 because the frame is broken. The home is a really cool looking home from the outside and does have quite bit of age. The floors were very dirty and all of our socks were dark brown on the bottom because it has not been cleaned properly in a long time. We did message the host about all of these issues when we were departing because it was pointless to message the host with these issues because we were only staying Friday night and Saturday night. We literally only spent a few hours in the place due to the volleyball tournament which we spent most of our time. The host did not reply back with any comments in regards to any of the issues in a message to them after our stay. Id check to see if the repairs have been done to the home before booking. I was honestly embarrassed, bringing my family to this home in the condition it was in. I think we should at least get our cleaning fee refunded.

A nice cottage. Porch is cute but floor boards seem weak and bouncy. Beds comfortable, King is very high if short and disabled. Could use more dishware, glasses and mugs if more than 4 people staying. Property owner's staff responded quickly when we couldn't find hairdryer.
