Our room was large and clean. However, the lobby area had a not so nice smell. Smell did not carry on into our room. Hotel’s location was excellent. It was within walking distance to all mayor attractions.

The hotel was in a great location. The lobby had a horrible smell, it hit you the second you went through the doors. Elevator was extremely slow and quiet small so you often had to wait. Rooms were average in size and housekeeping came daily but I wouldn’t say they did anything besides making beds and changing towels.

I loved this property, the room was spacious although the view was limited. Double windows made it very quite on a very busy street. The only knock was the lobby seemed to have an off odor.

A Great Gem of a Hotel! (And the AC is Amazing)
Fantastic stay! The aircon was blasting when we arrived which is very rare in Italy. The room was just perfect in size, and the location is down the street from everything you’d want to (must) see in Florence. From the bathroom to the nice firm bed and pillow options, just a great value. Plus, this hotel is also down the street from the train station. I cannot recommend this enough. And yes, I’ve stayed at the St. Regis, the Westin Excelsior and even the Lugarno.

The property was right next to the Duomo in the center of Florence The rooms were spacious, recently updated and well appointed. There was complimentary snacks in the afternoon. Great Hotel!!!

The location for this hotel could not be better. It is located on the edge of the city center and not far from the train and tram station. Our room was clean and quiet. The shower had good water pressure which can be an issue in some hotels around Italy. Breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful. The one draw back was that the lobby and hallways smelled bad. There were some heavy rains so that might have attributed to the sewer smell in the common areas but it was very overwhelming when we first arrived and although it got better it never completely went away. Luckily our room did not smell. We would stay there again.
