I would highly recommended Hotel Orto de Medici! The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was amazing and the staff was wonderful - especially Alazne! Thank you for makin our stay so amazing!

Our stay at Orto De Medici was lovely. The staff were all welcoming and helpful. Our room was nice, we especially liked the large bathroom. The neighborhood was lively and there were many restaurants and pubs nearby. Would recommend!

My wife and I stayed at this property at the beginning of September 2024. The hotel is very nice and the staff is very helpful. The breakfast service is very good. Our room was clean and comfortable with a king size bed. The location is not as convenient to several of the attractions in Florence as would be ideal, but we were able to walk to everything that we wanted to see.

Great spot in Florence- convenient to the Duomo and Ponte de Vecchio. Both were walkable- this hotel is was absolutely beautiful inside, the common areas - are very nice, clean. The staff was helpful.

The rooms are very large and spacious. The bathroom was also large with a full size sink and shower. The room was very clean when I checked in. The front desk staff (a male) wasn't very friendly or helpful. The price of the room didn't seem to match the room and hotel amenities. The price seemed overpriced compared to other hotels in the area. I would not stay here again for the price that I paid per night.

We had a wonderful stay at the Metropole. The staff were all so friendly and the buffet breakfast was fantastic. Our rooms were spacious and clean. We felt that Santa Margherita was a quaint town that doesn’t have the craziness like the towns of Cinque Terra. We ate at 3 or 4 different restaurants in town and all were very good. We would recommend Hotel Metropole and the town to our friends and family members.

This is the second time we have stayed here while visiting Firenze. It is a lovely hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. They even recognized our 2nd stay and we had a chilled bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us in our room. The breakfast is delicious with a wide assortment of food and, again, very friendly staff! We walked to and from the train station with some difficulty because of our luggage, but a very easy walk to il Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery, and the Ponte Vecchio. A little further, but well worth the hike, is the Piazzelle Michaelangelo with the most amazing view of Florence!!! Such a beautiful city and a wonderful hotel! I would definitely recommend a balcony room for the magnificent view over the rooftops to the hills of Tuscany.

Great property and extremelyclean. All the staff from front desk to breakfast service to maid service were professional and welcoming. They willl go out of teir way to help. Checked in late at nite and had a tour to Cinque Terre early next morning. Front desk crew made sure a breakfast bag was available since nienal service srarted prior to my departure.

This is my second time celebrating my birthday at this property and I can't wait to return next year! I always feel like family when I stay at Orto de Medici. They made my mum and I feel so special, from the welcome champagne to the birthday chocolates. We looked forward to our breakfast overlooking the gardens every morning. The staff goes above and beyond to deliver for their guests. Brava!
