This place is beautiful, elegant, sumptuous, comfortable, well-appointed, interesting, and tasteful. It's a wee bit of a trek from the main sites, which means it is peaceful and feels quite safe. The host was charming, the room was better than I had even hoped. It was utterly perfect!

Great location, good room size. However, no housekeeping, so who replaces the toilet paper when there is no one at reception. No in-room coffee and tea except for a basement vending machine. Some light bulbs not working, again no one at reception to ask about. Booking a taxi in Florence is not easy, if there was a decent reception, this problem could be overcome. Free laundry facilities in the basement were excellent. Heating seems to be an issue until a certain date in October.

The only thing wrong was that the AC did not cover the entire property and barely blew any air in the room it was in. I understand that these older properties dont have good AC, but there were no fans or additional resources to cool oneself down.

We had a nice stay here as a family of 4. The room was pretty small and I did miss having someone at the front desk at times. If it’s called a hotel, it should be staffed like a hotel. The AC didn’t work at first, but it was fixed the next day after we mentioned it. It was very nice to stay on the non-tourist side of the river. Much quieter and a nice break after a day with the crowds.

Close to the main tourist spots, good AC, spacious, comfortable. Only drawback is that the road in front of the hotel is busy with traffic and the motorcyclists are loud. I wore earplugs at night

Although it was about 25 minutes from the train station, the hotel was lovely. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the accessibility to the public transportation but also were able to walk to central areas of Florence. The apartment was very clean and loved the decor. We loved the access to a washer and a dryer.

Great hotel in Grosetto!
We loved this hotel! The room we stayed in was so nice, comfortable and clean, and the staff was so kind and helpful. The hotel is in a safe area of town, and we walked to a delicious dinner. Highly recommended!
