The location was off the charts. Regardless of my lower reviews I would stay again. Others have complained about the AC not working. Is it possible in the mild season of Oct. they turn off both cold and heat? Neither seemed to work.

You are paying for the location. The view of the Domo was beautiful, but the room was not. The room itself, peeling plaster, old furniture, broken safe, broken hair dryer, and no hot water in the shower. So, if location is the most important thing for you, consider this B&B, if not book elsewhere.

Little gem in front of the Duomo
This hotel is a Gem… i was hesitant at first because of certain reviews but I regret nothing! Location is great, breakfast simple and delicious. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Water jet in shower was weak but I mean whatever…i’m just complaining because i’m a curly girl and it would have taken ages if I had to wash my hair any of those days. Overall the service was excellent. Marcelo greeted us and he was amazing! He showed us the best spots in Florence and gave us some useful tips and tricks. Note that someone was always in communication with us in regards checkin and it went smoothly same with checkout. Honestly just book and you will love it.

Location, view, and price were excellent. Left with many new bug bites after sleeping. Hallways and entry are dingy and dirty with lights off upon entry. Checkin must be coordinated with staff and parking/driving there is difficult. Had a tour the next day that we missed bc the parking garage didn’t open early enough for us to leave on time. Shower was heaven.

We had an incredible room with direct view of the Duomo, my ‘now fiance’ proposed while we were enjoying the spectacular view of the Duomo out of our rooms window. A stay I will never forget. Marchelo checked us in and gave us fantastic advice and told us where all the hidden gems were, he was fantastic!

Such an amazing location! Rooms were clean and we had beautiful views overlooking the plaza and the Duomo. Marcel was very friendly at check-in and gave us such great advice and information. He was funny and great with the kids. Highly recommend this location!!

The area around the hotel is beautiful but the hotel itself is horrible. Dirty, with bugs everywhere, holes in the walls, air conditioning does not work properly. Bathroom is dirty and outdated. Do not stay here! It’s a scam for sure. The pictures on their website is not how the rooms truly are. There is no concierge or bar as they claim.

My husband and I loved staying here. The staff was beyond excellent. Super professional, fun and helpful! The room itself; what can I say? We stayed in a Duomo view room. When the view out of your window is the Duomo and Baptistry how could it be any better? The morning breakfasts were lovely and a great start to the day. Such a treat to stay here.
