Good location particularly if arriving by car (outside of the ZTL). About a 20 min walk to the Duomo or use the bus or tram stop just outside the front door. Good restaurants nearby.

Wonderful four day break at this hotel. The hotel was really conveniently located for access by bus or tram but easily walkable to the main sites. The rooms were quite not as big as I expected but still a good and comfortable size. The spa was amazing (managed by a lovely gentleman who's name has slipped my mind) and no point was there more than two other couples, the first night we had sole use. The buffet breakfast had lost of variety but you could also order omelettes, scrambled eggs etc but could have been better signposted for allergens. That said, the staff were more than happy to check everything and anything with the chefs. It would be great if they could expand to serve dinner, it would have made the experience even better. Lastly the hotel staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough to help. May I point out the wonderful Daniel on reception who was so informative, polite (and funny) and couldn't do enough to help make our anniversary visit to Florence as special as it was. Thank you Moon Boutique & Spa, we can't wait to come back!!

The hotel was fantastic. The toom was large and absolutely spotless. Its been decorated to a high standard and theres so much attention to detail. The room was cleaned daily. Staff are very freindly and helpful. 20 minute walk to historic centre but hotel is so quiet its worth the walk.

5 out of 5 stars again!! Second time returning to the Moon! Love this hotel for the Florence area. Location is excellent as it’s quiet and near the River only a few short minutes from the main downtown shopping and restaurant area. The entrance of the Moon is right by a bus and small scooter bike station which is awesome since that’s how we travel. Breakfast included is phenomenal!! Excellent service from all staff! Rooms are incredibly nice and well done and clean. Another reason we chose Moon was their included spa by appointment. The included spa was incredible and very relaxing and includes tea, hot tubs, steam room, dry sauna, salt relaxation room, crushed ice for cold therapy and scented showers. Reasonably priced. Please continue to have your reasonable prices and spa included and we definitely plan to return and highly recommend the Moon!

This hotel had been beautifully renovated and the rooms were very quiet. The breakfast in the morning was quite hardy with many options. The only downside from our point of view for this hotel was that it was a little further out from the sites of the city then we would have liked and we needed to walk at least 20 minutes at a brisk pace to reach them. This generally would not have been a challenge for us however it was very hot in Florence and at the end of a day this seemed like a long time. The hotel however does have a small newly renovated spa that you could access and it was nice to relax in there at the end of the day.

We enjoyed our stay at the Moon hotel. It was a little bit away from the touristy area, which was nice (still easily walkable). There were restaurants in the area, too. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was big, however the set up was awkward- the shower was tiny and the shower head took up the entire stall. It took a bit of getting used to and was fine for a couple nights. The spa was relaxing and we were able to visit both nights. It opens at 4 and there are 3 possible time slots each day. I believe the max allowed is 6 or 8. When we went there were about 6 people in the spa. Bathing suits are required. The breakfast was great- lots to choose from- both continental and menu options. I recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Also- staff was really kind and helpful!
