Good location. Very clean room. Average accommodation for a reasonable price. AC was old and not really working effectively- not great on a very cold night. Light above the doorway which could not be blocked - not conducive to sleep.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Property has aged and rooms are in need of upgrades. Air conditioning/ heating in second bedroom of family room did not work. Bathroom was tiny for family room and with all showering despite quick showers condensation was streaming from the bathroom walls and toilet paper became very damp - no extraction fan just permanent open window vent to outside which made showering freezing in 0-5 deg. Beds were very hard. Accommodation is walking distance to town, very handy. Work crews stay at the location. Loud very early morning conversations outside rooms.

Our recent family stay at the Plainsman Motel in Forbes was a delightful surprise. After a long drive, pulling up to a clean and inviting motel was exactly what we needed. Stepping inside our room, we were greeted by fresh, crisp white linens – a small touch that made a big difference after a long journey. But the true star of the show was the friendly welcome we received from the staff at the front desk. Their warmth and hospitality instantly put us at ease and made us feel right at home. We stayed here for one night during a road trip and were happy with our stay. The staff were friendly, and the room was well-equipped and clean. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the motel is conveniently located within walking distance of several food options. We would definitely stay here again.

Deluxe????
We had a deluxe? room which may have been the case thirty years ago. The shower door wouldn't slide shut, only one bedside table for two beds and poor lighting. I think it would be a nice touch if the room supplied decaf coffee and tea.
