With its location across from Horsetooth Reservoir and walking distance to Horsetooth Rock, you can easily enjoy mountain biking, hiking, swimming, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, rock climbing horseback riding, and more. Hungry or thirsty? The local restaurant, Canyon Grill, is walking distance, located just two blocks down the hill.
If relaxing inside is more your thing, you won’t be disappointed. My husband and I recently remodeled the entire house with rental guests in mind. The lower level houses a game room complete with ping pong, pool and foosball. The upper level is perfect for entertaining (trust us, we tested it out) with a fully-stocked kitchen, deck with marina views, and living room for lounging. There are 5 bedrooms making it a perfect getaway for families, work retreats, friend vacations and more.
Horsetooth Reservoir is located roughly ten minutes west of Fort Collins. The 6.5-mile-long reservoir is a favorite recreation spot for activities such as boating, fishing, swimming, and paddle boarding, water skiing, sailing and picnicking. There are many miles of trails surrounding the reservoir for mountain biking and hiking. It’s also one of the best spots in Colorado for bouldering.
