lovey property/disappointing provisions
We booked this property for our family to attend our sons graduation from CSU. We wanted a large, open layout house to spend time with family for the graduation.
Pros: The house is a beautiful home with open space and lots of natural light. We enjoyed the roof top deck and hot tub.
The host Erik was fairly responsive
Cons: The house posts for 12 people. There are 4 bedrooms with queen or king beds. The basement bed was extremely hard. There was another bed like a roll out bed with a trundle in the basement living room area. I am not sure it would accommodate sleeping 12, we had 7.
It would seem there is no house manager checking the house is stocked, there were a total of 8 hangers, no blow dryer, no extra blanket or pillows...The first night was cold and we bought an extra blanket and our son brought us blankets. There was no cleaning supplies for kitchen use, no dust pan or stick vac. The kitchen was very limited in pots, pans, glasses etc...It would be very difficult to have adequate cooking resources. for a family rental. We ran the dishwasher frequently and bought paper plates, cutlery and napkins and additional kitchen items that my son took.
There were chairs in the living room that were quite stained/dirty and a kitchen stool missing most of the bolts and required someone to come repair. We were sent some items but I would not expect to spend time on all that.
I communicated with the host, not sure either of us felt adequate resolve in the end
