The rooms were discussing filthy and mold in bathroom and on the lamp shades, the furniture had holes in it and filthy For 250 it was gross, never ever again!

You get what you pay for. This property is run down and not in good repair. They have put up new wallpaper and art, but as they say it is like “putting lipstick on a pig”. I thought a Best Western would be better. Worst issue for us, was the constant noise from the elevator, which vibrates our room, and we are NOT even right next to it! The water pressure is terrible. The furniture and fixtures are dirty and damaged. The windows don’t open for fresh air. No fridge in the room. The safe is basically on the floor, which means you have to get on your hands and knees on the tiles to use it. Bathroom is so small that the door hits the toilet. Breakfast area is too small for the number of guests.

Free Shuttle Service is a sham

I specifically booked this hotel because of the free shuttle from the airport. The ground transportation desk in FLL baggage claim said I needed to call the hotel first. When I called, a woman who spoke very broken English told me the shuttle would arrive within 30 min. After 30 min I called again and someone told me the shuttle was on the way. After another 30 min I called a third time and a gentleman apologized and said it was on its way. After 30 more (a total of 90 min waiting outside in windy and 40° temperatures) we took Lyft ($22) to the hotel. No attempt to explain or compensate for our inconvenience at the front desk. This is unacceptable.

When we got there, we were given keys to our room. We went up to the second floor and opened room 209. There were literally people in there!!! Went back to the desk and the front desk guy was very nice, but was nervous bc there was only one room he thought was open and while he gave it to us bc it was 1am and the dozen hotels surrounding us were full, the room was not up to cleaning standards. He talked to his manager or co-worker I’m not sure on the phone and it was loud enough that he was being put down and downplayed the safety concern of open access to rooms when he said “this is the 4th time this week” that keys are being given to occupied rooms. If I had a car I would have slept in it. I was scared for my safety, and when asked for a refund through Expedia, the response was they were unable to get approved as the local hotel either didn’t answer or denied the request. I’m waiting on Best Western Corporate for a refund now, but consider your safety and the lack of concern from the people in charge of you decide to stay here.

Hotel is located in an industrial area with lots of traffic noise. I requested a quiet room but was told there was only this room available for early check in. Laundry carts had high pitched squeal that could be remedied with WD 40.

Hotel is old and not kept up in rooms. Rusty fixtures and other items in room. sign of mold & could definitely smell it as well. Spend a bit more money to avoid this. Most of the staff are Spanish speaking & could only converse with maintenance person that came to room by using Google Translate

We arrived before check-in, we were not informed that if we paid $30 we could get our room earlier. we overheard them telling other people about the $30 but by then we had sat for most of the day. It was not fun sitting in the lobby for several hours after traveling. The guy at the front desk works very hard without any breaks. He is very busy with all sorts of requests handling many things at one time. The cleaning staff is fantastic.

A Room full of bugs. Stay away and look elsewhere

Hotel looked good from outside and lobby and given close proximity to Hollywood FLL airport we chose this. Early check-in wasn't allowed so we waited until 3pm to get to our rooms. Interior looked decent however on close inspection we discovered ant-like bugs all over. Initially we thought they were just near coffee table however later they were under bed, pillows, mattress and so on. Called reception and a service person was sent to look. he didn't even come in to room and confirmed he knows about these bugs. Many rooms have complained and he has reported to owner however nothing is being done. Asked us if we would like to change room but then also confirmed there could be many more such bugs in new room provided. We had 3 rooms under reservation and all of them had these bugs. It was nightmarish experience to try and sleep along with kids with moving creatures around.
