Horrible Experience

The check-in took over an hour because the front desk man seemed very confused, talked too much, and didn't seem to know what he was doing. Our room had a cockroach in it, and then we had the front desk man telling us we couldn't change rooms. Thankfully the front desk lady got us a different room. My eggs at breakfast tasted like bug spray so I spit them out. The bug spray tasted in my mouth lasted all day no matter what I did to get rid of it. The hotel had overflowing trash cans, and other not so clean happenings. We were supposed to stay more nights but we canceled and book a different hotel. We love Hampton Inns but this one is an embarrassment to Hamptons.

Not a good hotel

Yolanda, the front desk clerk was one of the most unfriendly persons that I have experienced at checking in at a hotel. I eventually got into a room which was disgusting. Stains on the floors in the carpet and on the desk as well as no curtains, no privacy, shade, and speaking of that the Window trim and valance was ripped off the wall and just hanging there. I don’t see myself ever staying at this particular location again. Hilton needs to send someone from corporate to this location and get it fixed and offer Yolanda some customer service training.

Although staff was friendly and helpful the room had the following problems: we had no heat(temp outside was 45 degrees, toilet didn't properly flush, tub spigot blew off of pipe going into the wall nearly landing on my husband's foot.

Over all the hotel was nice, the room was very compact, it was only myself and my fiancé in the room but it felt like we could barely move around in the room. The outside doors did not work so no matter where you had to park you only could go through the main doors. And the snack area was empty up until the last night we were there.
