I stayed at the St. Maurice Breach Inn for 7 days and 6 nights. For the first half of my trip, I did not get any sleep because the property has a courtyard outside. People like to get drunk while sitting in the courtyard at all times of the day and night. I barely slept at all the first night I was there. There was a man that got up every morning at 5 am and sat in the courtyard at a table right in front of my room's door. At 6 am, he was joined by other people and they had conversation. At 7 am they felt the need to raise their voices being that the sun had come up. I did not get any sleep until they left. Then there were the people who drank from afternoon until late at night. The more they drunk, the louder they became. The walls are very thin. If you like sleep, stay somewhere else. That being said, the room was clean. The bathroom is very, very small, but the boardwalk and beach are a 1-minute walk from the property,

Location to boardwalk excellent. Communication at check in could have been better. Short stay so we didn’t have much time to explore. Maybe would give it another try at some point to see if another room may be better and if staff at check in will be more customer service oriented

Nice place by the beach
Location is excellent, just by the beach. No parking space. Have to park on street (paid) or nearby parking lots (paid). Not a deal-breaker, but worth knowing. Might be a problem during high season. Room is not so big, okay for one person, or two if you don't have a lot of stuff. It's clean and has good size TV, big fridge. A/C a bit noisy. Has a moisty smell, not very disturbing when the ceiling fan is on. Worst part is the toilet, very difficult to sit if you're over 6ft. No leg space, very uncomfortable. No problem if you're shorter. Worst thing is the internet and thus, TV reception, as it is an internet TV. Overall, it's worth the price. Didn't regret staying here.

This room was very clean. However the room itself is super dated. The bathroom was so small that my 6’2” husband couldn’t stand t in the toilet without his knees touching the wall in front of him. The bathroom sink was coming off the wall. The front seat was very sweet and helpful and it was super close to the beach so not all bad.

Nice location but could have been better
It was nice and close to the beach and boardwalk. We had hoped to use their bikes they have available but unfortunately one bike had a flat and was not fixed during our stay. The little courtyards where nice. And staff were very friendly. We found the bathroom to be very small. Where you sit on the toilet it is very cramped. I also noticed a lot of noise at night. A car alarm kept going off all night.

Nice dusty room on the beach.
Nice simple place with cobwebs. Right on the boardwalk. Parking is a pain, you have to by a pass from the city then you can park in a garage or on the street. We were unloading our car and Johnny Law came by moaning about us needing to move. Other than that for the price you can not beat it. Check in lady was nice. In room coffee was a plus. Room could use a through dusting. There were cobwebs and dust bunnies. Someone with allergies might have a problem. We will stay there again.
