Santa Maria Resort- Great Resort and Condo!! Large refurbished pool & hot tub!

Excellent Three Bedroom, Two Bath Condominium that has been recently remodeled with all new granite countertops in Kitchen & bathrooms; new showers; new W/D; and ALL new beds! This resort boasts one of the best pool areas in Southwest Florida, complete with a heated pool, Awesome Hot Tub and a picnic/barbeque area (gas grills/ barbeque utensils supplied) with tables/gazebo. Living area with new carpeting, new sofa and new loveseat. The master bedroom has a new king-sized bed, TV, a full (new) bathroom, and a walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a new queen bed and a large closet. The 2nd bathroom is right next door with new shower. The third bedroom has a new queen bed and small closet. . Spacious Lanai with chairs and table. WiFi and Comcast cable TV are included.

The beach is across the street, with deeded access for all guests. If you have not been to the gulf coast, the sand is incredible!! It is the only golf course on the island, and is reasonably-priced. If you enjoy boating and fishing, there is a marina next door which has affordable boat rentals. The Fort Myers Beach Trolley will get you anywhere on the beach you need to go for a whopping 50 cents!! Lovers Key State Park is a short bike or trolley ride away, and has Kayak and boat rentals.

Santini Plaza is a short walk away, and includes many shops. You really will not need to drive once you get to the resort, and if you do drive, the traffic is much better here on the South End of the Island. You will have a great time!!

Needs updating, internet service poor, 3rd bedroom marginally acceptable, bedding quality not great!
This condo is very expensive for the quality received! The router for the internet is in another condo unit and works poorly! The whole condo needs updating! The dryer worked poorly on arrival and we had to perform some maintenance on it to get it to work correctly! Shower doors need to be replaced!

Dissatisfied
Upon entering the property, both bathrooms had hair on the sinks. The towels were still wet and in the dryer. There were chips missing off the wooden firniture and the carpeting had stains. The condo was also misrepresented by stating it had wifi. It only had wifi at the kitchen table and even that was not reliable. We also had an ant issue because the caulking was cracked on the back splash in the kitchen and ants started trailing in when food was on the counter. Furthermore, the dryer took 3-4 cycles to dry anything, which made it difficult to clean and dry the towels on a daily basis for 8 people. The drain pipe below the kitchen sink also leaked during our stay. To top things off, “Karen” the cleaning lady left us a note encouraging us to giver her a tip! The property is run down and in need of serious TLC. The place was not clean as we expected, and some of our must haves (wifi and dryer) were not working. We wont be staying here again.
