Overall a nice stay. Convenient to the beach and able to walk to dining places. Only downside was the main pool wasn’t heated and so we couldn’t swim in that. There was a smaller pool that was heated however.

Wonderful.
This property is beautiful. It is VERY clean and complete with everything you need. The ocean, pool, and hot tub are right outside the door. Our children loved staying here too!

The location and weather were perfect. The room had been used when we got there. The toilets and sinks had some hair and debris. It was easily cleaned. There wasn’t a vacuum to sweep up sand as stated, but all else was great. Even the weather was perfect for the beach in November! Gorgeous! No shells though.

The property was perfect for our party. We were in the gulf side and right outside the pool. We had a gate directly to the pool. The property even came with tubes, beach toys, etc. We will definitely be back!

Great Place for Families!
We had a wonderful week at Destin West. Gulfside 108 has pool access from the porch, which was great for our kids. It is just a short walk out to the beach. We loved the included beach service- you just have to get out there early to get a front row. The owner was very quick to respond to questions and needs. We have stayed at Destin West several times and love the family friendly atmosphere.

Christmas at the beach
This was our first time traveling to the Fort Walton/Destin area. We were able to book a last minute trip away for Christmas and had the most amazing time. Our condo was wonderful, it had everything we needed, plenty of space for the 5 of us (two adults, 3 kids) and the location was perfect. This is my new favorite vacation spot and we will definitely be back!

Perfection and convenience
We travelled with a group of 15. I searched and searched for a single home that would met everyone’s needs. That is an impossible and frustrating task and I won’t attempt it again. I found Destin West and fell in love with the photos and amenities. I booked 108 and then sent the information to everyone who had expressed an interest in going so they could choose a unit that would fit their needs. We ended up total of five units booked at Destin West. Three were pool level. This was perfect because it was a beautiful and easily accessible to the pool and our friends. Everyone loved 108. We’ve already shown photos to our friends (which I selfishly hesitated to do because I want to keep 108 for myself) and they all want to stay in 108. We had a wonderful week laughing and visiting with family and friends. The patio area was a big hit as it was spacious and well furnished. I hope to stay there again soon. Thanks Coastal Vibes for a fantastic getaway.

Perfect location!
Wonderful unit! Very clean and updated. Perhaps the best part is its location to the pool and beach access, along with the convenient drop off area located just adjacent to the front door. We were in Ft. Walton with our softball team and everyone commented how we had the best unit!

Great Location
This was our 4th time staying at this complex. Is a great place for families as there is so much to do onsite. The pools and lazy river are great and it's nice to have the hot tubs at night. Beach access is so convenient and this unit provided beach service everyday. Additionally, they had a collection of rafts & beach items to use. The unit was in great conditions and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Overall, the unit was in really nice condition with great access to everything. Made for a very enjoyable stay.

Nice condo for families- pools, beach service included, short walk on beach to restaurants & pier!
Overall this is a good property to stay at if you have children. Destin West has 3 pool areas, 2 on the gulf side and 1 on the bayside (which has a lazy river... fun but cold water). This particular unit being on ground level is convenient if your children prefer the pool area. However you won’t have an ocean view from your patio area and sometimes you will have the occasional trash/items dropped from above (I hope only accidentally). After staying here, I think I personally prefer units with an ocean view though. We have stayed at Destin West several times in the past years. Changes I have noticed mainly deal with the former Ramada hotel next door. It is under a new name and management now and no longer invites Destin West guests to share their amenities- so no more swimming at the grotto (the waterfall pool) and probably the worst of it... they have changed the splash pad area into an outdoor event area. The first two nights we stayed there we had music blasting toward the condo until 10pm. Thankfully no other events were scheduled the week we stayed there. We did purchase some mixed drinks from their beach bar (which were weak and probably not worth the money), and my daughter did purchase a burger and fries from the food hut around back and no one said anything about us being there. One of the perks of staying at Destin West gulf side is having 2 complimentary beach chairs with an umbrella included during your week. However, this past visit, we had to go out every morning to the beach service hut to reserve the chairs instead of only the first day of our stay for the entire week like during our past visits (get there about an hour early if you want to be on the front row though). This unit is well stocked with extras in the kitchen but unfortunately several kitchen items were dirty when we went to use them for the first time including a cutting board with mold, dirty glasses and cutlery and large food crumbs in one of the drawers. The refrigerator was missing a couple of the door shelves (which they notified us on arrival) but still was missed when loading the fridge for 7 people for a week. We had some toilet issues too but maintenance was there within a 24hr period after being notified. The base of the hall toilet leaks too. All kind of minor issues but prevents me from giving 5 stars. Beds were ok... twin beds could use new mattresses. Location is great for a walk to the pier and restaurants & shops.

This condo is conveniently located in FWB. The walkout directly at the pool was appreciated. I was concerned with hearing noise above when it was bedtime. The condo was very quiet and nicely decorated. There was a bit of an issue with the refrigerator but was resolved. I would stay here again.
