Awesome Beach View

Condo is well updated and very spacious and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Plenty of towels were supplied, which is not always the case. The property was well kept and had plenty of pools, just wish more of them were heated. Having the beach chair service included was an added bonus and the beach in front of the condo is a private beach for the guests only. Really nice !

Best balcony on Fort Walton Beach

We loved our time spent in this unit. The balcony alone made for an incredible morning coffee environment. Unit is in within walking distance of so much we rarely needed to drive. The beach is one of the cleanest we have been on. Wonderful vacation unit that I would highly recommend.

Great place with a great view

We loved our stay. The condo was very clean and had a fabulous view. It was peaceful to sit out on the patio every morning and even saw dolphins swimming. The amenities were perfect and the condo had all that we need for a memorable vacation. We would definitely stay here again. There were lots of beach toys available to use and we had fun playing Uno most evenings on the patio while hearing the live music close by. Thanks for helping us have an awesome vacation.

It was a wonderful stay. We loved the lazy river. My husband, son and grandsons use the pier for fishing and caught many fish! The condo itself was great and when I called about the overhead fan and sliding doors, maintenance came quickly.

Best view

I have stayed at this resort for 10 years now. This unit has the best view. The only negative was that my alarm in master bedroom went off at 6am on the 4th morning which happened to be check out day. Was wondering if that was set on purpose since we didn’t set it and it didn’t go off any other mornings. Blew it off until the cleaning person showed up an hour before check out to see if we had happened to leave yet. But I will still be booking this unit next year.

Awesome Vacation in 2020

This is the 2nd year in a row we’ve stayed in DW #402! David was excellent to work with, with quick response time both stays. You won’t be disappointed staying in this fabulous 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with a bunk room that has a door for privacy. The unit is beachfront & the large balcony wraps around in order to see the beautiful pool also. Give it a try, you’ll love it too!!

Amazing Family Vacay

We have absolutely NO complaints of unit 402, it was just simply perfect. We had a full house, 7 people in total, 2 adults, 3 teenagers, 2 little ones. The beds were very comfortable, even my niece didn't mind the pull-out couch. They provided all of the things in the kitchen you need. The location was perfect for us and especially liked the elevator being outside our door and then steps to our pool. The walk to the Bayside wasnt that bad and we really enjoyed our day in the lazy river. Little tip, this condo is Gulf Front so your walk from the car is a little far, when checking in be sure to hunt down a cart to get your stuff to the room : )

Late Minute Delight

We found this property on a last minute trip to Destin area and we are so glad we did. The property is situated in a great location near to restaurants and other tourist hotspots. The views were exceptional bc the property is at the end of the building over looking the ocean. The property has just been recently painted so the place had a fresh feel. Another benefit that the elevator was literally right outside the door so it was easy access to the pool and the beach walk. The beds were all comfortable. While we didn’t cook the kitchen still had enough room to do so if we wanted. Overall this is a prime spot with great amenities. If possible we will be back soon.

I thought this unit has the best view in the whole complex. Although the weather was a bit colder than what we wanted, we still enjoyed the stay. Some of pools in the complex are heated but the lazy river and the main pool on the golf side were not heated and were too cold to use during our stay. The beach was beautiful, clean and the beach service was awesome and included which was really nice.

We had a wonderful week at this condo. We’ve stayed at Destin west for years, but never on the gulf side. The view was amazing and the proximity to the beach made our visit even better. The condo was comfortable for my family of 5 and beautifully decorated. We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay very much..We had stayed in this unit before and it is really nice..I thought check in was 3:00 instead of 4:00 and housekeeping was still cleaning the unit when we arrived but helped us put our things in the unit and go eat while they finished cleaning... The unit could use some small repairs(door knob on closet door, kitchen faucet, touch-up paint on wall scratches) but these did not hinder our stay.

Fantastic Condo

We had a great week at Gulfside 402. David Jenn was very helpful, prompt, and professional in assisting with any of our concerns. He provided great reviews of local restaurants and things to do prior to our arrival and well laid-out instructions for our arrival, our stay, and our departure. He also was very quick to lend a helping hand to any items I may have overlooked. There were no concerns related to this condo. It is one of the ten best units in the Destin West complex, partially because of its location and views of the Gulf. The condo was clean and very well appointed (make sure you look under the beds and in the closets for everything that can be used at the beach!) Kitchen was well-stocked and water pressure was great. Beds were very comfortable and additional pillows and blankets were provided throughout. Five minute walk to the lazy river (across the bridge) and the gulfside pool is an easy elevator ride down. The beach, itself, is not crowded; especially when compared to some of Destin's beaches. Destin West is maintained very well. The grounds are clean and special care is taken throughout the complex. The complex is within close proximity of restaurants, attractions, a grocery store, and Destin. I spent a great deal of time looking at dozens, maybe hundreds of places to stay for our vacation in the area, and I genuinely believe that this condo is one of the best. The cost is more than fair and delivers a fantastic value. Thank you for an incredible week, David!

Awesome in every way!

We loved our beachfront condo at Destin West! Our view was beautiful! The pools are fantastic. Our teenage kids enjoyed the pools & lazy river more than the beach! We booked with David & Jenn 402 beachfront & were extremely pleased. The beach water was not at its greatest during our stay but the great condo & pools & then the shrimp boil & fireworks (next door at Ramada kept us entertained. There is so much to do here. The lazy river is a major plus for the kids while the beautiful view & convenience of the beach was what we adults were looking for! Loved our stay & plan to do this again next year!
