Checking in went smooth, the condo easy to find. However, once we got into our condo, we weren't too impressed. It needed quite a bit of updating, as we had seen other rooms in our same condo that were pretty well updated. It wasn't very clean, mainly the bathroom which had a tampon applicator behind the toilet on the floor. But if I could see it, so should the cleaning company. The back patio door also was alittle sketchy. There was a pin holding the doors together, but all it took was jiggling it a little bit and the pin fell out & it opened right up. Thankfully, we found the other way to lock it on the handle. Also, the dresser drawers were broken in the (not very private) bedroom, which my husband fixed before we were even able to use it. The drawers in the kitchen were also the same way, most of them were crooked and could be easily fixed. I feel like it could have been more tidy in the kitchen also. The stove had a broken burner, all the cabinets looked like stuff was just put in them to get them put away, instead of being organized. Also the pull out couch looked like the same one in my Florida vacation home 20 years ago, and the mattress could basically prove it. We had to buy our kids a different blow up mattress. The TV remote battery cover was taped on too....It was just disappointing, being that we drove almost 20 hours to relax in a nice condo for our very first family vacation, and that is what we ended up with. It was nice having the tennis court right outside our back door, and also the pool right outside the front door. But overall, I think simple updates and cleanliness would have gone a long way.
