Holidays at the beach
Our three bedroom condo fit the 7 of us so well. The bunk room offered kids individual beds. The kitchen was well stocked (be aware there are no spices or oils, so bring your own if you want to cook). There were plenty of linens. Being in an end unit was also nice. The beach and pool were Amazing. We loved it! Parking was easy. Access to restaurants was easy. I loved this location.

Excellent
This condo was exactly what it said it would be! Location was perfect, views were amazing. The bunk room was awesome for the kids we brought, ages 14-18. The walk to the beach was short. This was our first time in Florida and we will for sure be back and would stay in this condo again. The beach was laid back and great for families.

Family Beach Trip
The place was nice and clean. We had everything we needed. Very spacious and loved having the bunk room to fit the kids in. We were also all the way at the end of the hall in our own little area. Would definitely book this place again. 10/10 recommend.

Family vacation
The view and condo were amazing our only complaints are about the building. The elevator wasn’t working multiple times through the week, our water was shut off for 6 hours without warning in the middle of the afternoon and we saw multiple roaches around the garbage room. The outlets in the master bedroom only had one plug each that worked as well.

Great place
This is a great place. Condo was clean beds were comfortable and we love the distances to the beach. Overall we had a very good time. A few small things upon arrival the floor in one room had some water leak issues. Communication was great with management but we had to deal with that half of our vacation people coming in and out trying to get it fixed. They did bring us more towels which was really nice. Also in combination with them fixing the problem they had a lot of maintenance checks someone also came to check balcony and smoke detectors. It wouldn’t have been bad but with all combined it got a little annoying. Also it would have been nice if condo had some family games especially on rainy days.

Gorgeous place
This room is absolutely beautiful. We loved every minute of our trip. The only thing I want to let the owner know is that in the front room with the bunkbeds, there is water that was coming up through the floor. All my kids stuff got soaked, if they left anything on the floor. It was worse when it rained. My husband said there is probably a leak somewhere in that room. Just wanted to let them know before it gets worse. Other than that, our stay was wonderful. We love island princess and go every year for spring break. The kitchen had everything that we needed. Thanks for an awesome vacation condo :)

Excellent family vacay stay
Only reason for the 4 star rating was that the water was turned off due to plumbing repairs to the entire building. Listing states iron was available, but was not working. Other than things mentioned, this is an excellent family beachfront rental.

Great Location, Small Things Missing
The location and the place were perfect for a beach location. White fluffy sand was spectacular. Liked that there were 2 beach chairs and an umbrella available. Had issues with getting emails due to booking “thing” which caused issues with what we were supposed to bring with vs. what we expected to be provided. Had to argue to get extra toilet paper rolls (only had partial rolls to begin with) - was told that they only provide “bare necessities. You get two dishwasher tablets and that’s all for a week. For what you pay, the bare necessities is borderline ridiculous. No salt and pepper? Never been at a place that didn’t at least have that. Was never provided the gate code to get to the beach from the pool and back. Had to get it from others at the place. This was a common issue based on people we ran into. Brady, who runs the umbrellas and chairs, was awesome. We would go back again even with the issues because of the overall location and beach.

Amazing property
The management staff was quick and very understanding with text messages. The condo is a great size for the family. The property is nicely decorated and very clean. Everything we needed was provided. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. Access to the beach and pool was convenient. Upside not mentioned is the little gated area by the front door that was a great place to store the wagon, paddle board, skim board, and beach toys. There were not any spices/salt/pepper so make sure you buy or bring your own. We had a great time and would highly recommend the condo to friends and family.

Unclean, unsanitary, unsafe property.
We booked this property last minute due to an electrical problem at a condo we had booked a few towns away. We were only able to read a few reviews due to the short notice. We chose to book at Island Princess because we have stayed at other condos there and loved it. This was not the case. Unit 200 offered by RealJoy Vacations was disgusting. The sheets and bed spreads were stained/smelled bad, there was an inch of dust on the baseboards and fans, the pans were rusted, the blender had some milky liquid left in it, the toilet wasn't bolted to the floor, a floor panel in the master bath almost caused a serious fall because the flooring wasn't laid right, the floors were so dirty our feet were black within half hour, a lot of the walls look like something was spilled down them, the ice maker doesn't work right, there was food under the glass top of the kitchen table and bugs in one of the toilets when we arrived and the couches look disgusting and had crusty spots on them. The cleaning people were sent to at least mop the floors and the lady told us there was no point in cleaning the floors because there was too much foot traffic and our feet would still be black. After they finally recleaned the floors after being asked to again come back a second time, our feet were not black. I washed everything possible and used two containers of clorox wipes so we could enjoy the rest of our vacation. We spent four of our vacation days either on the phone with the company, sanitizing things ourselves or waiting for things to be fixed. Meanwhile, I have a two year old with severe food allergies so I also had to worry about these repair/cleaning people bringing something in that he was allergic to and thankfully that did not happen. Upon having the time later to read more reviews, we discovered many of these problems had been reported several times and have not being addressed. This unit needs some serious maintenance and they should not be charging people to stay there until the unit has been repaired and deep cleaned. Disappointing stay and would not recommend RealJoy Vacations if you want a joyful vacation. During our nine day stay there we had the cleaning crew, a toilet repair man and a maintenance flooring person there. Might as well have stayed home! The toilet repairman said the toilet wasn't installed right nor was the flooring causing the issues. Proceed with caution!

We enjoyed our stay in the unit, but were disappointed on our arrival to find the dishes in the dishwasher were not clean and we found some cups in the cabinets were not clean. there were a few mechanical issues which were reported and eventually fixed. We had to request that the floors be cleaned, which was taken care of by the cleaning crew on the day we requested. There was an issue with water leaking on the floor every time we opened the door to the freezer side of the fridge. This was not addressed during our stay. We noticed that there is a problem with the icemaker being able to dispense ice but we did not report this. This should be looked at though so it's not a problem for future renters. All in all we enjoyed our stay and will use Island Princess in our future stays in Fort Walton.

Almost oerfect
Great location. Loved the view. Two problems. In one room the blinds couldn’t keep out the security light so we had to hang towels over window to sleep and that really didn’t work. Second I had asked that they not let anyone into the condo to fix washer and they let them come anyway. Felt like privacy was invaded. We didn’t need washer so had no need to have it fixed. Would have preferred no strangers in while we were there. But all in all very clean. Mostly comfortable. Sleeps eight but doesn’t have gave enough seating in living space for all to be comfortable. Kitchen well outfitted. We were able to cook without to much trouble.

Nice Condo
Condo was nice and had everything we needed. My only dislike was having to go thru a few gates with codes and thru the pool area to get to the beach access. It would be great if you had kids along with you though. Property was secure. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay!
