Clean but staff not customer service friendly
The front desk staff were very rude especially a woman that works there. Also, there is no seating area for anyone who is waiting to check in. Every day, our door was knocked on no less than 3 times by staff asking questions about our stay that they could have gotten from their computer with the reservations. Then the front tried to charge be an extra $20 for me to stay with my mother in her room. It was not over occupied or anything. So I rebooked with me added on, at the same price as a single person, the next night.
You have to login to the wifi at the front desk or lobby area. I asked The clerk because you cannot do it in your room and was not aware; he said " put your phone her" pointing to the desk in front of him. I said "give me one moment I need to get it out of my purse." He says " just take time And relax yourself." What the? Wow. I was pretty relaxed. Next morning 10:57 a.m. The door opens,I hear barking from the hall and I say, hello? Next thing you know a man says, It's time to leave, Check out time. I will be out in a few moments I say. I cannot believe they just opened the door and told us to leave. We hear this man go to several more doors and say check out time is now,You must leave the property. My partner went to the car to load up some luggage on his way in he stopped at the front desk to return the key and collect the deposit they're very hesitant to give it back. And then comes around the corner to the elevator and they ask him, where are you going? and he says, I'm going to bring the rest of my luggage down, The man looks at the clock and the security camera and says you have 10 minutes. You must leave. We exit the room and see a Chihuahua barking in the hallway. This dog had been barking for about 20 minutes. Clearly a ploy to make guests wake up/ leave. When exiting the front of the building a another guest states to me he dropped his phone in the lobby overnight and they would not give it back to him and they would not give him the deposit. Won't stay again.
Initially was give a Queen size room with 1 pillow but it was easy to change to the 2 full size beds room that was actually paid for. Kids & dog barking most of the night but we were there for a place to land for the night
Be careful. Although reservation was paid via this app. They ask for a $20 cash deposit Then in the am when you have to head to work. There is no one manning the front desk to refund said deposit. There is a disclaimer up front that if you do not clain said deposit by 11am. You lose it. Bad hustle.
Expedia failed to mention a 20 dollar deposit which put me in a dangerous situation to where I almost didn't get a room. Because of this I was very close to spending a night on the streets in the cold with the danger of physical malady.
