HOSTS - Home to yourselves, but there are other guesthouses to rent on the property
SLEEPS - Up to 4 people; 1 queen bed in loft area upstairs & 2 single beds in downstairs bedroom
BATH - 1 bath; Downstairs has a walk-in shower & toilet & upstairs has a whirlpool tub
KITCHEN - Kitchenette w/ a coffee maker, microwave & mini fridge
BREAKFAST - Breakfast certificates provided at check-in. Coffee & tea also provided
AMENITIES - TV, WiFi, front porch with seating, natural gas stove

The house does accept up to two dogs but we ask that each is 30 lbs or less. In addition, there is an additional pet fee of $22/pet/night (before tax). Furthermore, we ask that you do not allow the dogs on the beds or furniture, property dispose of their waste, and do not allow them on the furniture or beds. If these rules are not followed, there will be an additional $200 charge added to your reservation.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Property was as expected. On the last day of my stay the lights began flickering in the bathroom. Property manager said electricians don’t work weekends, use a flashlight. I said ok, where is the flashlight, then they said we’ll bring you a bulb, what type, I provided this information and they said can I look for a bulb in a lamp in the periphery. I did and then told them that worked…no response, no follow-up. I didn’t like their response ‘Electrian don’t work weekends’. Would not rent from them again.

Misleading

No privacy. Cabins are set too close together, no privacy. 2. No curtains, only sheers, no privacy. 3. Dishes were dirty, 2 cups i pulled from the cabinet were dirty. 4. The bath was dirty. 5. Neighbors next to us were up, outside, screaming and being obnoxious til 3 in the morning. 6. The bed is awful, hard, uncomfortable. The cost of this cabin is highly overpriced. I will not recommend to anyone. There should be some kind of compensation.

Wonderful Accommodations

We always wonder what your getting when staying in a new place, however this location was a breath of fresh air! The cabin had all we needed to enjoy or stay and much more. The property manager thought of everything one might need or forget to make an enjoyable stay. The cabin was very cozy and clean. My Wife and I give it a 10 out of 10 and look forward to coming back! Thank you Property Manager for your attention to detail!

Fredericksburg log cabin.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay here. The website stated a minimum of two nights on weekends, but we were able to stay Friday night. (Thank you). Location to downtown area was within walking distance for walkers, but a little far for most. The restaurant next door was closed for the holidays, but we found the Sunset Grill to be out of this world for breakfast. Hight marks for the ambience of the log cabin and the three other cabins that frame this spot. Our cabin had a jacuzzi tub in the loft! Maybe not very private for a family or group, but a couple would have a lot of fun.

The cabin was very historical but clean, cozy, and has all the necessities. The entire check in and check out process was smooth. We also got coupons for breakfast and chocolate for our wedding anniversary.

Review

The location was great and the accommodations were good for the price. It was very clean inside and we loved the big covered porch to sit on. The exterior pillows and seating could use a good cleaning. More utensils are needed in the kitchenette, otherwise bring your own stirring spoons or larger bowl for a family salad, cutting board, knives to cut veggies/fruit/cheese. There is no toilet upstairs, so whoever gets up in the middle of the night should sleep downstairs on the twin bed.

Clean and great location

very clean and great location to Main Street. Great outdoor space as well. Single window unit AC worked well to cool the entire property, but wish it was quieter at night. No stove but there was so much to see in the town that we did not have time to cook and the microwave worked fine for leftovers.

The home is very clean and convienient.

The home was clean and well stocked. My sisters and I appreciated the snacks and breakfast vouchers. It is located close to Main street, but it is too far ro walk to the shopping district. I would stay there again.

Great Stay

Good location, convenient distance from Main Street. Quiet location with good amenities. No the best place for little kids (stairs and creaky flooring). Great for short stays with an "at-home" feel.
