Victoria House is a boutique hotel in downtown Frederiksted, right across from the water. The hotel is eclectic, beautiful and relaxing and it felt like home. Each room is special and welcoming. There is a small wading pool surrounded by nice pool chairs and tables. On site there is a bar called Ruff Night, run by a dog rescue and adoption group. Some days puppies are there! There is also a restaurant on site, separate from the hotel, but so convenient. “Flyers” has amazing food cooked by Chef Joe Smith who had such a good menu I ate there four times! I can’t say enough about Brian, the manager of the hotel. Before I even arrived, we corresponded and he had introduced me to a couple of local people who could help me with my ancestry mission. He made me feel like family. I can’t wait to go back!
The VH is all being remodeled. The management was super friendly. The space was very spacious. A cute bar in the back opened until 9 most nights. Cute puppies from time to time from Ruffstart. We got to keep some in our room one night to help out as they had no place to go - so fun. Got to meet the owners before we left they are super nice. Hope to come back and visit again soon.
New night club opened up adjacent to property.
Shook the entire place until 5 am Friday and Saturday
several calls to police did nothing.
Not the problem of the Victoria House, just unfortunate.
This was the grand opening, perhaps it will calm down in the future.
Love the dog bar!
Flyers had great food.Very busy and took forever to get it.
Shopping was amazing when the cruise ships came into port
The hotel was very quaint and a unique place. Manager Brian was great and very responsive. The only reason this is not a five is because there is construction going on at the small pool and it can be a bit difficult navigating the stairs with luggage. The room was very big and clean. There is daily housekeeping, unlike some other hotels these days. The view from the shared balcony was nice. It is a shame a lot of the town had places closed because the scheduled cruise ships had cancelled. I believe this is due to pier damage that was sustained in some storms. The restaurant at the hotel was great and we ate there three times. Overall, I would recommend giving it a try if you like small and unique hotels.
Location was perfect! Beaches to the left and right! Amazing views from every direction! The room itself was cozy. Could have used a tv in the bedroom but overall cute and comfortable! The cave walkway not recommended for tall men lol my guy was nervous the whole time lol I loved it again very cute! Clean up lady was great in and out. Will definitely be coming back to was amazing

Liked: Staff & service
Victoria House is a charming property right by the pier in Frederiksted. We stayed in the Lanai (Starfish) Suite.
We really liked the private balcony, the courtyard, the air conditioning in the bedrooms, the daily towel replacement, and the customer service. We also liked that it's not a cookie cutter property.
We really didn't like how noisy the street is. While Victoria House provides a white noise machine, it didn't really cover up the cars racing down the street, the beeps from the ATM right outside the front door, and the people shouting at all hours of the day. We would also recommend against staying in Frederiksted in general, as it's a lot more run-down with far fewer restaurants and bars than we were expecting. The property was fine (not great, not terrible) but we will try somewhere else in Christiansted next time.
AC in bedrooms was excellent..property is awesome representation of original Dutch architecture- super cool.
Kitchen and living room in our room did not have AC and it was a very hot day/night. Definitely recommend a stay, however.
I loved my room. Very spacious well decorated. Stayed in the mermaid room. Loved my view on the ocean. Could not ask for a better place to stay. Thank you so very much.
The staff is super friendly. The room is very spacious and clean and the property feels very safe.

Great location! Close to restaurants, shops, and ocean front views! We stayed in the Sunset which was a 2-bedroom, 1-bath, with a full kitchen and living room. Very spacious and perfect for our family of 4. Air conditioners in the bedrooms was nice, along with ceiling fans in all rooms. Property also had a small bar and a lovely courtyard.
