Very difficult to get to with a private car since it is in a no traffic zone. Would recommend parking outside the no traffic zone with a small, hotel shuttle van.

Central and lovely
Great location just a 10 minute walk from the train station. Right in the centre of town just a couple of minutes from the cathedral. Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean with good shower. Breakfast was nice with a lovely setting in a cool bar area. Great hotel in a perfect spot.

Excellent Boutique Hotel in Old Town Freiburg
We had a fantastic stay at this boutique hotel in the heart of Old Town. We stepped out the door right into the Christmas market. The room was newly remodeled with modern furnishings. It was a decent size for Europe and very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and quiet. The bed was on the firm side. Good breakfast in the morning. Excellent, cozy bar with great service. The whole team was terrific. Since it was Christmas Market season, we opted to park in a public garage about 5 minutes walk away rather than the hotel's underground garage. The traffic was nuts, and we didn't want the hassle of navigating the car through the crowds. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Das Hotel ist gut und liegt zentral. Es ist schade, dass die Bar und dies sogar am Wochenende schon um 12 Uhr schliesst. Wir wollten noch etwas bestellen und leider war der Kommentar vom Barchef etwas unfreundlich gegenüber dem Gast. Sonst ist das Hotel empfehlenswert.

Sehr gut mit einem kleinen "aber"
Mitten im Zentrum, sehr sauber, Bad mit genügend Abstellfläche und grosser Dusche, trotz Weihnachtsmarkt sehr ruhig das Frühstück war fein und toll, dass man bis 11.00 Uhr essen kann. Für ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse würde ich jedoch einen Kühlschrank und einen Wasserkocher erwarten. Und einen Aschenbecher vor dem Hotel, werfe den Stummel nicht gerne auf den Boden.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt
Es war "nicht so lala" sondern ganz toll, im Hotel am Rathaus zu übernachten und mit Freunden unvergessliche Stunden geniessen zu dürfen. Lage TOP, Infrastruktur TOP, Personal TOP, einzig mit der Anfahrt ins hoteleigene Parkhaus hat und das Navi einen Streich gespielt und uns etwas "auf Umwegen" ans Ziel geführt. Ab so oder so, wir werden bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal im Hotel am Rathaus zu Gast sein. Herzlichen Dank

Very cosy atmosphere, the bar is really nice and worth a visit. The rooms are spacious, a coffee machine in the room would be nice but they serve coffee in the bar. Nice experience. Thank you
