Water was not hot
The staff was very friendly and they were able to give us a first floor room, as requested. We let the water run for a long time, but it never did get hot. Also, the floors were dirty. Walking around barefoot our feet got very dirty and there was no hot water for a shower.

Beware
The room was very unsanitary and had a terrible smell. It's also located where there homeless people walk around and ask for money. Breakfast was terrible. My wife and I booked a 2 night stay but only stayed for one because we couldn't take the smell and how dirty are room was.

It’s just our luck that a bunch of people were smoking and talking till dawn outside our room. Besides that, the room is nice and spacious. Free breakfast though not a lot options, better than nothing at all.

The front desk was polite and check in was simple and quick. Room and building is run down. Bed was not comfortable. Complimentary breakfast only had toast, muffin, orange juice and coffee.

Had to do a last minute, late night check-in. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were slightly old but we expected that for the price. Area seemed slightly sketchy but we didn't personally have any issues.

I arrived on the late side, and was warmly greeted, and expeditiously assigned a very fine room with a comfortable bed. The "breakfast" was minimal, but I always enjoy a Svenhard's Danish and hot coffee. I would recommend staying there whenever visiting Visalia, known for the College of the Sequoias and serving as the gateway to two national parks!

Not bad - just disappointing
Room was clean but poorly maintained. There wasn't a note pad, pen or pencil, or even a clock in the room. Seemed like not much room for the money.
