Nice and clean hotel with friendly staff. Room is the typical Japanese sized. About a 10 minute walk from Hakata station. Close to a couple convenience store and a few restaurants. There is an unmentioned prefecture tax on Expedia that they make you pay on arrival.

The room is a bit small for 3 persons. Hardly have room to move around. Didn’t take photo cos the room was too small. Need to pay tax of 1200 yen for 2 nights for 3 pax. Hotel is about 6 minutes walk to Hakata station. Restaurants are just around the corners. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Convenient place to stay
Rooms were clean. Hotel is conveniently located with many restaurants in walking distance. Hakata station was also an easy walk. Enjoyed this area as we made lots of friends while eating at drinking at nearby restaurants.

Hotel is just 5 minutes from Jr Hakata station which is very convenient and great especially during winter. I traveled on bullet, train and bus to Fukuyama, Hiroshima, Takamatsu, Yufuin, Nagasaki, Beppu, Osaka, Oita, Miyazaki, Kita Kyushu and Fukuoka. Check-in was smooth. Staff arranged a quiet room for 13 nights stay. There is also coin laundry and eco cleaning. Staff also called taxi for my early morning check-out. Thank you for the very pleasant stay.

Room for an asylum seeker.
This was the worst room I’ve endured in a long while. The carpet was filthy. There was an odour about the room. The decor dark and depressing. I booked a room as advertised. New building superior double. Ideal for the solo traveler. Totally mis sold. Plus an additional charge which came as a surprise as I had prepaid. Never has a room wanted me to go home as this one did. Extremely disappointed with this booking. Hotel passing the responsibility on to Expedia.
