We like this hotel and this is our second stay however still cannot figure out the humidity issue in this hotel. The towels feel wet due to humidity and please note we already live in a humid area and we are used to it but this is different and extreme.The AC is on but there seems to be something else.

The surrounding were great. The hospitality was amazing. The beds and pillows were not comfortable and pillows were very lumpy and too worn in. The property is being renovated but the building is in desperate need of repairs. The pool was big but also in need of repairs as the filter quit working and tiles were off and falling apart. Breakfast was very good. Elevator barely works properly so used the stairs a lot.

Its just OK

I understand renovations was going on but the shower looked very dirty and fruit flues around the sink. Sofa cover was dirty as well.

Convenient location to UF. Nice breakfast at no charge. Have it 4 stars instead of 5 bc the elevator was not working properly and the portion of the parking lot was taped off due to construction.

There were cockroaches in my room and the only elevator did not work so you had to carry your luggage up the stairwell to your room on check-in and down tge stairwell at check-out. No offer of help from the staff.

Roach motel. Infestation.

Cockroach infestation ongoing in this hotel. Have stayed in Florida many times over the years and realise occasional presence of a cockroach can occur even in the best of places. This however was not an occasional roach or the best of locations. Numerous small roaches were coming out the woodwork in the rooms (tried two different ones) and corridors and presumably elsewhere. Staff either feign shock and suprise about the cockroach issue or are disinterested about it. Manager is clearly aware of scale of problem but does not seem to take it seriously. Half-heartdely offered us an insecticdal treatment of room which lasted a few hours at most - in that the several roaches we found afterwards were either dead or dying. But by the next morning the roaches were back in force alive and vigorous. Rooms potentially spacious and nice and when refurbishment is complete this may become a nice hotel. Staff great and - apart from roach issue, seem competent. In the interim though would definitely not recommend or consider staying in this place again.

HVAC system in the room was noisy, drafty and did not control the humidity well. The hotel’s generators were also noisy and kept me awake most of the night.

The room‘s lighting needs attention, too bright, cold LED light. The highlight was the cleanliness. The wife was pleased by the level of cleanliness, and that says a lot coming from here!😁

Do not stay here.

After assuring us we were rebooked for two nights they tried checking us out after 1 night. They luckiky still had space but still an inconvenience. The bar and restaurant was closed for renovations which was disappointing as it wasn't mentioned when we booked. Wouldn't go back or recommend especially after the rudeness of the person who canceled our reservation.
